I'm happy to share this 2012 MINI Cooper S Coupé with the Turo community. Here's your chance to discover how a practical city car does not have to be boring. The MINI Coupé is engineered to make you smile. It's Chili Red and awesome and comes with a stick shift, of course. This is a driver's car, but with enough modern conveniences that you can be stuck in traffic and that smile won't go away. Live large and drive small!
The Coupé is the fixed roof two-seater version of the MINI Cooper. And this one's turbocharged! If there's such a thing as a front-wheel-drive sports car, this is it. An automatic rear spoiler pops up at 50 MPH for extra downforce while navigating those twisty country byways. For city travel, you will quickly come to appreciate the diminutive size (just 146" long) and the super tight turning radius. Fun, fast, and nimble. You really can have it all.
Oh, wait, no... there is one thing you can't have: an automatic transmission. I know I've mentioned this already, but apparently it's easy to overlook. Please do not book this car unless you really do know how to work a manual transmission. You will be asked to prove it. Also, be aware that this car is equipped with run-flat tires. On the upside, you don't really have to worry if you get a punctured tire, as you can continue driving to the nearest dealer, where they will replace them for free. On the downside, these tires are loud and very firm. Do yourself a favor and dodge those potholes!
If you can drive stick, and don't need to carry more than one passenger, then maybe Sparky's right for you. Now you can book this car instantly for rentals at Boston Logan International Airport. I'll meet you curbside upon your arrival and get you on your way in about 10 minutes.
