Lloyd is just a small town car who moved to the big city to realize his dream to become a movie star! So far, he's only gotten a bit part as the "Production Car" in the 2014 webseries "Hurry Up and Wait" (see his debut here: http://youtu.be/z6gjWNvew1Y). Unfortunately, his acting career has come to a tragic standstill. You see, this winter was rather hard on Lloyd. He had a nasty run in with a snow plow that put a dent in his pride (and his paint job!). To make ends meet, to save up for some slight cosmetic surgery, and to keep his gas tank full, Lloyd has decided to start ferrying folks around Boston until he makes his big break (he's hoping Mark Wahlberg calls soon.) Help Lloyd out by renting him! He's got a few scratches and dents, but he's beautiful on the inside (seriously! He's got leather seats! And a back up camera that makes parallel parking so much easier!)
The car was great and in excellent condition. Easy pick-up and drop-off.
I'm new to Turo, and unfortunately I didn't realize that by extending my trip by 3 hours, (for a total of a 36 hour rental) I would be charged for an additional day (how on earth does a 36 hour ride constitute a 72 hour cost!). This is ridiculous, and I wish that someone (either the renter, or Turo, had prompted me that by extending a reservation for ANY AMOUNT of time, costs money, let alone the cost of an entire day! If I had known that I would have kept the car for the full length of time I was paying for.
