Once your reservation is confirmed we will receive your chosen time and will be at that exact location with the car ready for you to take. If you fail to show up at the time you initially chose we won't have any issue waiting 10-15 minutes for you to arrive, but if we do not receive a notice within a day prior that you will not be ready to pick up the car at the time you chose we will need you to make a change by going to modify trip and requesting a change. This can be done up to 24 hours before your trip. If we are waiting passed 15 minutes we will not be able to accommodate your reservation and will be forced to mark your reservation as a traveler no show.
if you would like to prepay for tolls you can give us an amount you would like to prepay for to use the express lane highways during your reservation. If you would like to go the alternative route you will be held responsible for the toll plus a 25 dollar violation fee for every toll that you accumulate throughout out your reservation.
$10.00 - For 1 - 2 days
$20.00 - For 2 - 4 days
$40.00 - For 4 - 7 days
IF YOU SMOKE IN MY CAR OR IF WE FIND A USE OF SUBSTANCE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE THERE WILL BE A CHARGE OF 250 SMOKING FEE. THIS FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CAR AND FOR THE CAR TO BE CLEAN FOE THE NEXT RENTER. YOU CAN SMOKE OUTSIDE THE CAR BUT PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER PEOPLES CARS AND FOR PEOPLE WHO WILL RENT THE CAR NEXT FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE.
Cars will be given clean, when returning the vehicle we expect to have it brought back the same way. We often have many renters who take the car spotless and bringing it back in dirty conditions leaving the next person unhappy.
#1 - Wash Car Before returning vehicle
#2 - Can pay us when returning vehicle for the car wash for a flat rate - $20.00
#3 - we can request a reimbursement through turo but will only lead to charging more for the wash.
If you plan on using this car for any type of event for racing or track please do not rent this vehicle. The car has 3 different GPS and detection monitors and if we get a signal from the monitor we will be forced to not only retrieve our vehicle, but paying for new tires and any wear and tear that you have caused by doing so for these types of events.
Gas is expected to be returned at the same amount that the gas is given. If you do not provide a receipts for premium gas you will be held liable for any damages that are caused to the engine and or car for the use of any other gasoline.
When picking up a vehicle we expect the name of the reservation to match the the name on the drivers license. we will not except any identification other than a valid drivers license that matches the name and that you are 21 years or older. If a valid drivers license isn't provided we will be regretfully forced to cancel your reservation for violation of policy.
Unfortunately since we will most likely be unable to meet, a car manager will reach out to youin regard to your reservation for the city that you are currently in. The car manager is the point of contact for any minor issue or questions you may have. If a higher problem arises you call the turo emergency line at 1-866-735-2901.
If you happen to be involved in a minor accident or something that doesn't require us to file a damage claim via turo like a damaged rim or smoking fee we can figure this issue for you and avoid the turo damage claim process. If this problem is serious we will have to Inform turo and go through the damage claim process.
CURB RASH TO RIM - $200.00 FLAT RATE
DAMAGE TO TIRE BY CURB RASH - $200-$500 depending on tire size and brand.
MINOR BODY DAMAGE - $200-$1000.00 we have a body shop that fixes minor damage depending on damage done to vehicles.
NAIL IN TIRE - $25.00 FLAT RATE
SMOKING FEE - $250.00
We are aware of any damages that will be on the car and you will be able to find these pictures in your trip confirmation screen in the category, trip photos.
From there you will see everything like the car, interior, miles, and DL.
for your reservation you will have a turo insurance that is covered by liberty mutual. If any problem where to arise this card will be in the glove box with the vehicle registration. This becomes effective throughout the time of your reservation.
If you happen to receive a parking ticket we would like to be informed immediately. If you receive a ticket a car manager can help you go through the process of paying the ticket when returning the vehicle. If you fail to inform us we will be regrettably be forced to charge you a late fee plus the actual violation.
We want this process to be as simple and hassle free as possible so we want to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the rules so that we can have a easy and seamless experience!
The pick up wasn't to far the person was on time for both pick up and drop off I didn't have to wait for anyone which is good because I'm very impatient. The car was nice loved it in very good condition. And communication with Angelica was very quick and easy also I would definitely use her car again.
Another great trip. This is my second rental with Angelica and it went just as smooth as the first. The vehicle was clean and rode absolutely perfect. Pick up and drop off was easy and quick. I was able to communicate with both Angelica and her husband throughout the entire process.
Angelica and her husband were very prompt to reply from beginning to end. Pick up, drop off and communication couldn't have been any smooth. Traveling all the way from Champaign to Chicago, I ran into traffic that put me behind the pick up time but I was able to communicate early with Angelica as well as with requesting an extension. The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG was well kept, clean and an amazing drive. I will absolutely be renting again from them both. As a first time Turo user, I am extremely impressed. The vehicle and the service was top notch.
Nice vehicle, great price, friendly communication but I was disappointed in the inconvenience of the drop off time being changed due to their low staff. We were able to work it out but from my experience I would have appreciated my times stay as requested as I stated in the communication before the trip was approved! Angelica did take accountability for the low staff.
The owners assistant just dropped the keys at our hands and left, no explanation on any features or how the car worked and we did have some questions. The car was filthy with pigeon poop on the roof, dust everywhere, the rims were black from all the dust, there was sand everywhere and we could not use the trunk because of the sand. The right speaker was blown out so we decided to switch all sound to the left so not to hear its weird noises. The rate was excellent.
