We were very pleased with Emillia and the performance of her Electric Vehicle. She brought the car to the airport and let us leave it there at the end. This was our first time driving an EV, which was an interesting learning experience. It is eerily quiet, has a lot of pick up, is easy to get around in, and has plenty of room. My recommendation- if you're familiar with driving an EV, this is the car for you. It's roomy but still small enough to get around. If this is your first time driving an EV, this is an opportunity to learn about EV driving. You'll need to become familiar with the charging process. For example, setting up an account with the charging company (their phone number is on the Charging Station) and either downloading their app or calling them to begin charging. Having only one charging station on the island can be a bit unnerving, especially if you're staying at the West end of the island; however, the charging station centrally located, and we once drove the width of the island twice before recharging, and still had some juice to spare. It does take a while to get used to the 'gas gauge'. It depletes as you drive, of course, but charges when you coast downhill. Which can be a bit disconcerting at first. We had 42 miles when we left from Kaunakakai to drive up to Kalaupapa lookout, but stopped short of Kalaupapa when the gauge read 22 miles. But by the time we returned (downhill) to Kaunakakai, the gauge was back up to 40 miles. We drove up the next day with a better understanding of the gauge. Despite some 'gas gague' anxiety, we highly recommend Emillia and her EV.

His was a great little car, served its purpose. It’s completely electric, which is great but we did have to plan accordingly so we wouldn’t run out of battery. If you’re staying in the center of Molokai it’s great but if you stay on the west side, you use half the battery just to get there. And there’s only one charging station on the island.

Emilia and her Leaf are both GREAT! She had the car waiting for us at the airport and let us leave it there at the end. Super easy. She provides the charging cord to plug it into any regular outlet. There is a quick charging station downtown, but we didn't ever need to use it. There is a USB port for charging devices. She even provided an iPhone cord. We hope to rent it again next time we are there.

Emillia's car was great. So nice to not have a gas bill on Molokai. It was dirty but manageable. We really enjoyed the quiet drive around such a quiet island.
