There was always great communication from the start. Manny picked us up from the airport right when we landed then we did our inspections of the car. We were hungry after our flight so Manny and Jessica had us follow them to a local fish market. Then they directed us to a beautiful beach to enjoy our lunch. They were very helpful and pleasant. The car has great gas mileage and it cost us about $35 to fill up. I would definitely recommend renting from Manny and Jessica.
This vehicle was great for our trips around Oahu for 10 days. The air-conditioning was cold. Manny and Jessica were the nicest people. When we had any questions or concerns we just called and they immediately responded. I would definitely recommend them.
This was my first experience using Turo and I must say it was a great experience. Manny & Jessica were very pleasant to work with. The price for their car was reasonable and the car was very reliable. The Mazda 626 was very spacious and has lots of room in the trunk if you have lots of luggage to haul around. Also, this car is very reasonable on gas (a huge plus) and another awesome thing is there was an adapter in the car to hook up to your phone, iPad, iPhone, etc. to listen to your music on the radio. I would definitely recommend anyone to rent this car. All around great experience! :)
Very disappointed with this car. It looks great in the photos, but is different in reality. I rented it for two months, and immediately found it had problems: the radio did not work in Honolulu. Nothing but static. The passenger door did not open with a key. If I wanted to put something in the front seat, I had to open the driver's door, flip the lock switch for all doors, then walk around and open the passenger door. The right wiper blade was falling off, which made it dangerous to drive in the rain. It was a bumpy ride and because the car has a wide turning radius, it was difficult to maneuver on Honolulu's narrow streets. I informed the owner about the issues and he did not fix the wiper blade or replace the radio, and said there was nothing to be done about the passenger door lock. Car had many scratches and dents, so if you do rent it, take extensive photos before and after renting.
