Not the most friendly person to deal with, but not necessarily extremely rude. Emphasized the additional up-charge service of fuel refuel and car cleaning fees, and with all the questions I asked seem liked I was inconveniencing him, and told me to go through the app. Matt came late to our appointment, the car exterior was clean but man it had a lot of dents and scratches, but the interior wasn't a car that I would claim was clean before every rental, as was suggested. This was my first experience renting through Turo and I only did it based on the convenience of the pick up location, but based on the whole experience and basically treated like not in the most customer friendly manner, I don't think I rent through Turo again and never with Matt.
Matt was a pretty nice guy, however I was somewhat annoyed by how he kept trying to upsell everything. Also, he kept mentioning I can pay an extra $30 for him to clean the car, if I fail to return it in it's normal condition. However, the vehicle on the inside was not very clean, which made no sense for me to pay an additional cleaning service fee.
But other than that it was a great experience to drive the coast in a convertible.
