Everything went fine until we went to drop off the car. She asked my husband to help her get her cat off the roof, but he told her her he had to hurry to get back to our hotel in time for us to make our dinner cruise. She said she would give him a ride back to the hotel (he dropped me off before returning the car) so he said okay. He helped her get her cat off the roof and into a basket and she ran inside and shut her door without saying anything. He waited 5 or 10 minutes thinking she was tending to the cat, but she never came out.. He knocked and she didn't answer. He said through the door that if it wasn't a good time to just let him know so he could start walking to the hotel, but she never answered the door or came back out. So then he went ahead and walked back to our hotel.
Because of taking the time to help her with the cat and then waiting for her to come back outside and give him a ride like she offered, he was so late that he didn't have time to shower for our dinner cruise and we barely made it in time.
Without any more rental cars in Honolulu, I was so thankful to find Hong's chevy! She was so sweet and helpful! She had the car ready right on time and even gave us a ride back to our hotel after we returned the car! And she gave us a lot of helpful Honolulu tips!
