I have never been more disappointed in renting a car than I have when it came to this rental. I did an instant book to rent during my family’s stay in Atlanta. On the way to pick up the car at the scheduled time I let Michael know I was on my way and didn’t get a response at all and ended up having to contact Turo to get in touch with him. Finally After picking up the car and driving for approximately 15 minutes, warning signals began to pop up saying that the car had no oil and that the engine needed to be shut off immediately. Due to this I contacted Michael or whom I thought was Michael but in actuality it was his brother who is his assistant so I never got to directly speak to Michael during our entire our trip. Instead of offering to swap out the rental or coming to check out the car he said he had an account at advance auto parts and it would be free if we could stop by and get the oil. We were only in Atlanta for a short period of time and had a full busy agenda and the store was only 1 min away from where we were staying so we said fine. This quick stop at the store turned into a 45 min inconvenient situation. I arrived and called “Michael” for the account information and did not get an answer so I called multiple times and did not get a call back until 10 mins after being there. After that the store wasn’t able to pull up the account information for a whole 15 mins. Finally they do and we get the oil and put it in the car which we should’ve never had to do in the first place, When the guy from advance helped fill it up he stated that the oil in the car was so low that he was "shocked" that we managed to drive it for more than a few hours". The right-back door did not open so someone would need to open it from the outside in order to let people out. This served to be a great inconvenience for us. When we went shopping we wanted to put our bags in the trunk… however we never got that opportunity to. The trunk door does not open with the button inside the car or on the key so we were forced to carry our bags in a car that is already full of people and not really space to put anything. There was also no Bluetooth in this car we tried everything multiples it doesn’t even show up when you search for it. The car definitely has major electrical issues and possibly whatever else. Upon returning the vehicle to michael’s assistant and letting him know all the troubles we had he said we could’ve called to get another car but as mentioned before when I called regarding the oil issue that was never given as an option. He told me to give Michael a call on a different number which he provided to me. I called and did not get an answer so I left a very detailed message of what had happened and this was on Sunday 10/14 and it is now 10/16 and I never got a call back nor a message on Turo regarding my concerns at all but he did have time to rate my trip ironically. Everything seemed very skeptical and unprofessional and made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Overall This vehicle served to be both an inconvenience and a danger to my family and I plan on requesting a full refund and reaching out to Turo for further action to be taken. People who do not care about the safety of others should not be able to have their vehicles on a car-sharing website such as Turo.

Car check engine light was on. Kept skipping and jerking. Didn’t feel safe driving it all the time. Also doesn’t look like pictures hence has damages, & car inside has cigarette holes. Overall nice people and ok car.
