For a premium vehicle/price, car was filthy inside and out. Given the $150 fee for pick up/drop-off service we opted to go get car at owners home but paid cash (in advance, big mistake) for him to meet us at airport at 8:30am to allow for our 9:30am boarding time. Sent reminder the night before as well as an hour before our scheduled meeting time the day of departure. No response. Sent text upon our ontime arrival at airport. No response. Sent several more unanswered messages (with airport security growing increasingly snarly and suspicious because we were essentially parked curbside, a serious no-no) and growing increasingly alarmed at the fact that boarding for our flight had already begun and we still had to get ourselves through the TSA checkpoint (now 100+ people longer than when we arrived) we finally received word from the owner who wanted us to just go ahead and drive the car all the way out of the airport and back into short term parking and leave the keys. Patience. Now. Gone. Explained we would not, could not given that our plane was scheduled for take off just 15 minutes later! No apology, just excuses, no offer of a credit or refund for the cash already paid for his utter failure to provide the service for which it was a condition (not to mention the deplorable condition of the vehicle itself). All he had to say was to drive the car to the end of the curbside drop-off as far from our airline/security line as one could get, and to leave the key on the driver's side tire. With literally not a moment to spare there was no time to express my frustration so I hung up, my husband did as we were told, and in the time it took to do that...yup...plane missed. While we tried to arrange an alternate flight, contact family and employers as to our now delayed arrival home, we received we received the following message from Serguei "got the car just fine, thanks!!"...
That was two weeks now. I've intentionally waited to write this review until the last minute so as to let the time, aggravation, and rather significant costs associated with this experience cool off. I also thought it only fair to wait to see he might reach out to explain, apologize, attempt to make it right somehow, or even merely to inquire as to whether or not we were able to make our flight. Had he attempted ANY of these things, I'd have likely handled my grievances privately, merely rating the car/owner without all of the gory details. Please don't let this experience negatively effect your opinion of all who offer their personal vehicles for rent as "buy local" is one of the best ways you can support the residents of the island, of which you are merely a guest. We ended up leaving 2 days early but there was no problems with them meeting us at the airport to pick up the car. When we booked the car I didn't see all the damage it had, so wasn't happy to see that but all in all the car drove great and no issues with pick up or drop off.

Serguei was amazing! He was very helpful and extremely friendly. I'd highly recommend renting his car. If you're driving on the Hana Highway this is the car you want!
Serguei's Audi was great and highly recommended if you're touring Maui. Was able to enjoy the sun & quickly close the top for some afternoon showers at the touch of a button. Serguei was super responsive - the only thing not noted was that the car has a medium-size dent on the rear driver's side that needs to be tended to, other than that it was perfect.
