Richard was a pleasure to work with! This was my second time and my husband's first time with Turo. My husband said, "We will definitely do this again!" Why? Because of Richard. The car ran great. He was at the airport. He couldn't have been nicer and I wish the best for him as he continues down this Turo Road:)
The car performed very well for a party of 5, with plenty of storage and great on gas. There were some bells and whistles we didn't expect to see in a Corolla. Car was cleaned and detailed nicely for our pick-up and a short hop from RSW airport. For convenience, Richard allowed us to drop the car off at the airport, which helped get us to the airport on-time! Would recommend a rental from Richard.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER 1 H 45 mn late for the delivery when I specified that it was mandatory to get it on time in order to pick up kids at school! They stayed outside for 1 h waiting me !
Car super dirty, old cups in it, unidentified substance melted in the center consol, etc...
Now come the WORST PART: SAFETY Totally worn front tires. This car has been in an accident and was poorly fixed. Crushed windshield pilar. Front bumper hanged with apparent screw, alignment off, etc...
If you rent this car : don't return it late (even if you call to let him know) : I was 1h 03 mn late and I have been charged $125 !!!!!!!!!! Who paid for my 3 kids waiting for me during more than 1h when he was late for the delivery??? WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I did not report all those inconveniences to Turo and I just managed with the renter. For my kindness I have been charged $125. Morality : ... keep your kindness, DO NOT CHANGE your good nature for some people with lack of morality ! 😜
This was a horrible experience. I contacted driver several hours before trip to start to advise that our flight was delayed. He did not reply to email sent to Turo. The number he left me was a disconnected number. He then text me on a new number and I attempted to call back right away to tell him to wait. He would not pick up phone and left us without a car on Christmas Week. Turo did nothing despite there email that they would get back to me in one business day and charged me $84.00. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN.
Richard was very communicative, met me at the airport as soon as I arrived and the exchange was very easy. There was an unforeseen issue that arose which resulted in me having to return the car early but Richard was helpful in dealing with the situation.
