When you are driving my personal car, I am covered under turo commercial insurance regardless of what insurance you buy or if you decline coverage, for that reason please direct any insurance coverage question to turo because I am not an insurance expert.
Pickup ( my location or airport)
1-If I am unable to meet you in person, The keys will be in a lockbox inside the car and the car unlocked ( or I will remotely unlock it, depends on the car you booked )
If you are picking up from my location, the car will be parked straight ahead, if you booked airport delivery, details about the car location will be communicated in turo messaging.
2-Before I give you access to the lockbox you need to verify your identity using the following process: a)when next to the car take a picture of your ID with the car in the background showing my car tag, b)another selfie showing your face and your ID at the same time, c) another clear picture of your driving license alone d)Upload the pictures in the trip photos.
When this process is completed text me via turo messaging and I will give you access to the key.
3-For your protection take and upload the car pictures showing its current condition including odometer and gas level.
NB: if I am unable to verify your identity and the validity of the driving license you are holding, ( will be suspended soon status will be rejected, even if approved by turo ) I reserve the right to deny you access to my car and cancel your reservation.
Car drop off
1- If you are dropping off at my location Park the car at the straight ahead parking spots, you don't need gate access, put the key in the glovebox and manually lock the car. Some cars will not lock without the remote key in that case, leave the window slightly cracked, lock the car and throw the key inside the car, let me know where it lands so I can easily find it when picking the car up.
2-If you requested airport delivery it's basically the same principle, park the car and send me the exact location, in general renters park at the terminal short term parking. Ex: Terminal A level 1 row G. Renter is responsible for any parking fees. You have 2 options for airport parking.
-Option 1 ( renters preferred) will be up to 17$, it's your departure terminal short term parking and you can walk to the check in counters.
-option 2, airport remote parking like ( park and bark) this will cost around 7$ but you will need to take the free shuttle to the airport, about 10/15 minutes ride.
Parking fees will be added to tolls used amount
3-Before locking the car Take and upload car condition, pictures including mileage and gas, and location pictures, also send me in detail how to reach the car location via turo messaging.
-If the car have a mechanical problem please contact turo and tow the car to Sea Bees automotive, 1200 belle ave. suite 111, winter springs fl32708. The tow truck can drop the car off at Any parking spot. Keep me as the car owner posted. ( if it's more then 15 miles away please tow the car to the nearest repair center)
-If you are involved in an accident, call 911 if required, please use Turo Commercial Insurance for any police report required, do not use my personal insurance, if you do you will be liable for any issues this might cause, report the accident to turo and also to me. If the car is disabled tow it to the nearest dealership. Example if you are driving a mercedes benz, tow it to the nearest mercedes benz dealership
All my cars are equipped with a permanent toll transponder you will be charged for what you use at the end of your trip. You don't have the option to pay for tolls in cash lanes since my transponder/tag will be charged automatically . Toll flat fee 5$
Extensions or reservation change
Reservation change or extensions must be requested during normal business hours, you can submit the request via the app ( modify trip) if the car is available I will accept the extension if it was requested with sufficient notice
Booking outside my availability hours
Yes it's possible
My Availability is Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 10:00pm Saturday 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and off On Sunday.
If you are arrival or departure time doesn't work with my hours, the car will be dropped off or picked up during my available hours and that shouldn't affect your trip, in some cases additional parking fee may occur and you will be informed before any charges occur.
Do I keep your personal information
Your driving license information will be entered in an app I use for authenticity verification, your information will be safely stored until your reservation ends.
I always do my best to provide you with a clean car and vacuumed interior, I expect to have it back clean and vacuumed, if it's not I will have to charge cleaning and inconvenience fee of 35$ for a normal car wash and vacuum. And 75$ if the car need to be detailed.
How to avoid airport parking fees
How to avoid airport parking fees:
If you want to avoid parking fees I will need to meet you at the curbside exactly at your booking time. Based on my previous experience with Orlando airport and turo ( baggage arrivals delays , arrival or departure delays are very common) this is very hard to accomplish but if you want to do that I will accommodate. I will be able to wait 5 minutes at curbside. After that time I will have to leave with the car. Your trip will be considered a no show and you will be fully charged for the trip. I won't be able to come another time.
That's why I recommend all my renters choose parking option 1 or 2 ( 1: terminal short term parking 2 airport remote parking)
If you want to avoid parking fees please message me via turo at the time of your booking so I can plan accordingly. If you don't message me I will consider airport parking as default.
