When I arrived there was a broken down truck in a chained in driveway. Owner not around. Called and he said to just go ahead and take the car and told me where the keys were. What happened next was despicable. The car was filthy dirty, food liquid everywhere ild food guck stuck in every crevice you can image. The stinky was horrible. I called Ramon and he said for me to just take it to a car wash. I was appalled as I was in Miami for a short 24hrs. He offers this several times útil I told him I will not drive this car. He called Turo and it took another hour to straighten it out. The Turo people were great. I was not able to book another car because it showed I already had a car. Bottom line it too another two hours before I got another car which was I perfect condition. I believe it's up to the owner and not Turo to make sure a car is in the right condition to rent out. This was my first Turo experience. Turo only gave me a 30 credit. But the trauma and time wasted was not equivalent to what Turo should have done for me
Pick up and drop off were both very smooth. But the car itself wasn't the greatest, but it's to be expected for the cheapest option out there. It'll get you where you need to go but if it's raining there's s big leak and the brakes aren't very sensitive you need to push them hard. Other than that it was clean and everything was alright and worked.
Dealing with Ramon was a breeze. He was responsive and easy to deal with. With that said, I was dissatisfied with his car. It wasn't in great shape. It was missing a door handle, it shook when driving at high speeds, had a crack in the windshield, etc.
His car was the cheapest one available so I guess it makes sense that his car wasn't in great condition still I think it was a little below my expectations of the minimum standards that Turo would allow.

Ramon was really great to work with and accommodating. Will definitely rent again .
