When we called to schedule picking up the call two hours after our reservation started, the owner said she had forgot about the reservation and asked that I wait for a call back. She then didn't call back, and was not answering phone calls over the next half hour. I called Turo for support and within 20 minutes she called back to explain there were many things in the car that she couldn't get out. Because we were already behind schedule to get on the road, and I knew it would be a hassle to rent another Turo, I offered that my friend and I would remove the items. We did so in about 45-minutes and then got on the road.
The owner was otherwise a nice lady, and the car was great (could use some cleaning, but it wasn't gross by any means). It seemed like something had probably come up that caused this, as I see that other reviews were positive. But my experience was entirely unacceptable.
