I am absolutely appalled on how the completion of my trip was handled. These people have low rates for their cars but will scam you on the gas. It’s really a matter of integrity. When I picked up the vehicle the person who gave me the keys said they had already included photos of the vehicle and gas meter when they saw that I started to take photos and upload them myself to the app. I took a photo of the gas meter and did not finish uploading it because I trusted that person would not try to scam over $10 of gas. So to get straight to the point the car was given to me with a little over 3 quarters of a tank. When I returned the car the owner filed a claim stating that the gas tank was full when they rented me the vehicle. I was an absolute fool for trusting these people. I actually returned the vehicle with a little more gas than when it was given to me. I am really disappointed on how both the owner and Turo customer service has handled this whole thing. I didn’t have any problems with the car but this has turn to be an absolute robbery. I’m not the one to ever leave reviews. But I’m so disturbed that I’ve felt inclined to leave this review. I will be sure to escalate this. Victor Lara, the rep that worked on this claim did a poor job of trying to understand the customer’s side.
