First time Turo customer. Turo's responses are quick! Having said that, i had to call them a few times to resolve some communications issues with the owner. I sent the two messages asking if there is any information he wanted to know from me and if he needed to tell me anything about the car or anything a first time user would need to know (i.e., use of sun pass to get in and out of the airport garage terminal, garage parking ticket in car). Emails back and forth and texting with the owner to resolve issues took time. Had to pay for the garage parking ticket when the advertisement said free delivery. I was assuming free delivery meant not paying for garage parking. The car rode great, unfortunately, the inside of the car smelled like spoiled/sour milk. It could have been from the previous traveler who rented the car and did not clean it well. Couple that with the Florida heat and humidity, you get a pretty bad smell:( I used the car for 4 days spraying frabreeze and rolling the windows down to air out. I notified the owner about it. Nothing back saying sorry, let me check it out, clean it and get it back to you. The sad part is i had three friends riding with me and told them all about Turo and how easy it was. Communicating with the owner took time understanding it's not a full time job. My friends are reluctant try the company because of my experience. I plan on giving Turo another chance.
The car was left in a very easy spot for pick up. We received a clean car with a full tank of gas. I had many questions since im new to using Turo and Yari really made my first experience with this site a breeze.
I'm not one to write reviews but this was my first Turo experience and Yari made it very pleasant. I would highly recommend renting from Yari. His car was very clean and mechanically sound. Had no issues the entire trip. Will rent from Yari again if I am in the Orlando area in the near future.
Yari is a great guy, it was good to get him as a first time renter for Turo. The only thing was he gave me some miscommunication. I didn't expect to be charged for tolls he went through before I even received the car, as well on my own will even though I left his car clean on the inside as it was not impacted there was rainy weather off and on. The outside of the car was not as he gave it to me and me being a person of character I told him to send the charge, instead he sent a charge of $25 that said toll charge only to tell me later after I disputed that it was including the car wash, which I was willing to pay from the start. Good experience with the rental aspect, definitely could have been better communication.
