Smooth transaction. Diana was flexible enough to accommodate my requested pickup time and our communications were clear. However;
The car lacked any comprehensive description online. Mileage and exterior appearance was on par with the age of the car. The car had been vacuumed inside and cleaned outside before delivery but was in need of a thorough detail inside and out (e.g. Tire and/or rub marks on the lower skirts of the car, dusty inside, fix-a-flat leaking in the trunk, remaining white substance stains in seat creases and seams).
Upon picking up the car, I was informed that there were "a few" warning lights on in the dash and was told not to worry about those. Turns out the car was low on oil, had faulty TPMS or low tire pressure, stability control warning on, reverse light fault and/or braking system/ABS fault). While all of these issues might indeed have been minor, it is not my responsibility to add oil, change a bulb and check tire pressure. If those issues were indeed minor, they should have been sorted out by the owner of the car. The car was not in a condition suitable for rental.
I promptly requested to return the car after driving it two blocks. Diana was understanding of our apprehension and accepted our return request the same day.
If the car didn't have any of these maintenance issues, I would have kept it (originally scheduled for a month). I have no complaints on Diana's communication asides from the lack of upfront disclosure online on the condition of the car.
Would I rent this car from Diana again? Yes if the required maintenance is completed and car properly detailed.
