This was my first time experimenting with Turo and I was lucky to rent from Angelica. Her communications leading up to, and at point of, rental was reliable. I'd rent with Angelica again, and look forward to doing so in the near future.
After I had sent her a message she waited 45 minutes to let me know how to get the car at pickup. I was late returning the car because of traffic delays from an accident. I let her know an hour in advance but didn't realize I was supposed to extend the reservation. I was late and she reported it immediately at the time of the original rental time. She never communicated with me directly and I waited 15 minutes to find her upon return, in the rain with a suitcase and my kid. I asked her why she was able to report me to Turo but not communicate with me directly. She said it was not personal, just business. She lacks all consideration and showed me disrespect. I was unable to extend the reservation because I was driving in the rain. And the check-in time was not adjusted to match my check-out time. I let Turo know - seems like double standards all around.
