Looks like scam, posted car for less rent per day. At the end owner said there is hail damage which never happened during our trip. I am still surprised how can he claim saying there is hail damage with out any storm during our trip.
Amazing deal on a car. Cheapest deal that seemed reliable for getting around Denver and surrounding areas. The car was parked at a hotel (Embassy Suites) that is just a free shuttle ride from the airport. Gaining access to the car was very easy. There are some cosmetic dents and scratches here and there but I was not charged for anything except for the remaining gas. The car itself was very reliable, I didn't go into the mountains or anything but getting around Denver and the surrounding cities was extremely easy. Communication is a bit of a pain as I received numerous automated texts from Zach's company or the company that rents his car, but pickup and dropoff went smoothly. He/the company gives you a number for a valet service that you communicate with if you do have any questions/issues. Overall, I would rent again from Zach solely based on value. In fact, I am renting from him again in a day or so. Thanks Zach
Great little car to venture around with. AMAZING gas mileage. The communicating was great. I'm not sure what the negative post about not knowing who they are communicating with though? It was pretty clear this whole trip. Thanks again! And don't hesitate to rent this car!( drop off and pick up is 13 minutes from the airport, therefore I used an uber to get here and it was 12$.)
This is actually a business that rents out multiple cars. With that said, it was still a fine experience - easy pickup and drop off, smooth ride - perhaps some more cosmetic issues, but all very minor. And who cares, really? It was perfect for my needs.
Zach is very hands on in renting out his car. He called me a few times regarding questions I had and was very responsive. The Yaris is a nice little car - new, clean, well kept. Just make sure that you arrive to the destination on time (perhaps camp out at a nearby gas station for a few hours) or you will incur fees even if you call to extend.
We would have preferred not having to work with a valet service. In past the car owner has left the car in a nearby lot with instructions to locate car and unlock box for key. Much preferred as with an early arrival (or later departure) we aren't stuck waiting. Plus I found the extra instructions from the 3rd party to be burdensome. I was never sure who I was communicating with as well- the owner, the valet driver, the 3rd party service desk. In future I'll check that I'm not dealing with intermediaries. Too inflexible and too complicated.
Went very well. 5 stars, however the maint light was on at the beginning of the trip thru the time we had it. There were no mechanical issues, but a heads up or getting the light fixed would alleviate any concern one would have when driving through the mountains. Overall, stellar trip.
The car was great for the most part. Everything worked fine and pick up and drop off went smoothly. I took the car into the mountains and it really got blown around in the wind. Would highly recommend for city driving!
Please do not let the "Hassle-Free Car" moniker fool you...my experience was anything but Hassle-Free. From the moment I made the reservation, I started receiving text messages from two separate phone numbers (that were not Zach's or Turo's) giving me page upon page of instructions and links to websites with pick-up and drop off information. Since my choice was between a car in North Boulder and this one in Denver (I live in downtown Denver), I chose this one. This seemed shady from the get-go and it was unlike the peer-to-peer experience I have become familiar with in my own and my friends' rentals on Turo. This is more like renting from a wanna-be rental car company than peer -to-peer car sharing. I was given free options of picking up and dropping off the car at either the airport or a "staging lot" (not very peer-to-peer either) OR pay $100 for custom delivery. To avoid "Fees", I had to take a bus to the airport (two hours for me to get from my house to Union Station then to the airport). The valet met me on time (not the car owner, another "not very peer-to-peer moment") and I had to drive another hour back home. So just to get the car, I had to block out four hours of time. The car itself was fine and in good working order. It was dropped off with a full tank of gas and looked and smelled clean. On my way to return the vehicle to the airport, I received notice that the valet who was supposed to meet me was sick and since they had so many drop-offs and pick-ups to deal with, I had to park the car in short-term parking instead of follow the five pages of instructions they had on how to return your car at the airport (sent in a text message link that morning). This is the kind of stuff I would expect from a rental car company at the airport, not peer-to-peer car sharing...which I why I like to support the little guy and not mini-fleets of opportunists and major rental car companies. Remember that four hour trip I had to take to pick up the car? Well, I had the same one in reverse after dropping the car off...roughly eight hours to pick-up and drop-off a car I only needed for three days. I thought the hassle would be over when I returned the car, but then I got a few text messages from the hassle-free car phone numbers telling me to enter into a contest for a gift card and one telling me to make sure I left Zach a five-star rating. This clearly was not a peer-to-peer experience and not very hassle-free. I would have felt better about myself renting from Hertz or Enterprise. :(
The car had some damage on the side back bumper (which was documented for us) but it did cause a loud flapping noise in the wind. However, the overall service was phenomenal and the car gets fantastic gas mileage. I would rent Zach'a car again, definitely recommed it.
You guys are (hopefully) changing the whole car rental process. Having someone pick us up at the airport and meet us at departures? Holy cats, that was amazing! Felt like I was a big deal getting such great treatment. After renting cars at a few major airports and even at my local rental places, your service was amazing. No upsells, nothing hidden. Someone drops off a car for you, you pay the previously agreed price, and then you're done. Thank you so much!!
Definitely recommend and would rent again!! First time user and it was fantastic. Easy to follow steps for pick. Up and delivery. And was very accommodating. Would rent again if I'm ever back in Denver! :)
This was our first time using a car sharing company and it couldn't have been better. My girlfriend and I spent a week in Denver for her sisters wedding and this car was crucial. On top of that I got to brag that we got to get this car without waiting in any line and then got to drive straight to the terminal door and give the keys straight to Zach. This service was cheaper, more convenient and a great experience. I can't even imagine renting a car from a traditional company after having such a great experience with Zach. Will definitely use again!
We had a great experiencing renting through Turo with Zach-we were travelling with my mom and newborn which could have turned into a dicey experience but the process was nice and smooth. Zach provided all of the details for pick-up via cell while we were flying across the country. Upon landing we were able to grab the airport shuttle and the car was exactly as described and in an easy-to-find location. No problem installing the car seat and getting on our way! Zach handled a minor issue with the gas gauge smoothly and we were very happy with our rental.
Everything went very smoothly! Zach is very responsive and his Toyota Yaris is a great little car that was easy to drive. This was our first time using Turo, so I was very happy to work with such an experienced and professional renter as Zach. He gave very clear and extensive instructions right at the start, and we didn't have any trouble with the renting process or the trip.
If you do a Denver airport pick-up, please be aware that it is a long shuttle ride to the parking lot! We were a little late getting the car because we did not estimate this time well!

Zach was great, and the car was perfect. Easy airport pickup and dropoff. Bonus for having a vacuum in the trunk.
I took off one star because uploading the trip photos on pickup and dropoff was pretty stressful. The app is super buggy, so it's very difficult to upload them, and you need to take lots of photos. If this requirement were removed, this would be perfect.
High marks for Zack his car is very economical, rides well, had no difficulties and got to speak with Zack a very nice person would recommend him to other's and hope to have another opportunity to rent his vehicle again, thank you.

Everything went great. Picking up was easy. Dropping off alittle more challenging. Difficulty getting to lot & limited spaces. Had to drive around for awhile to get a spot. Uploading photos on return difficult. Site kept saying error-try again later. Hope they all went thru. The car was great. Will definitely use again. Thxs!
Great experience. Zack was extremely helpful answering any questions I had about the car or Turo. He even picked me, my friend, all of our luggage and brought us to the car. The Yaris fit our needs perfectly and was immaculate. Will definitely rent again on my next trip.
I was very impressed with my first trip through Turo! From the beginning, Zach was extremely helpful in guiding through the process. He even picked us up at the airport! I would highly recommend any of Zach's cars and Turo!!! It made our trip even better!
