This is a 4-door Metallic Brown 2009 Subaru Outback Limited Edition in great condition, kept clean on the inside and out. It has an automatic 4-speed transmission, heated leather seats, Harmon Kardon 440-watt sound system with aux port and Sirius XM, panoramic sun roof, tinted rear windows, remote keyless entry, on-board WiFi, and a full-size hatch. It gets about 22 MPG in the city and 26 on the highway.
It has all-wheel drive traction control and newer all-weather tires which makes it handle very well in both winter and summer driving conditions. The automatic transmission is complimented by the Sportshift mode which allows semi-manual shifting, handy when mountain driving.
Cargo Box: I can install (at no charge) a Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 cargo box which adds an additional 14 cubic feet of storage space, perfect for your snow gear or additional luggage. If you don’t need it, I’m happy to remove it, which will allow much nicer views through the huge panoramic sunroof.
Ski/Snowboard Rack: Alternately, a Yakima FatCat 6 locking ski/snowboard rack which holds up to six pairs of skis or 4 snowboards is also available at no charge.
The car comes equipped with a Samsung LTE Mobile HotSpot PRO on T-Mobile for on-board WiFi. I'll provide the network password and you'll get unlimited LTE data while you're in the car, so long as you are within reach of a T-Mobile tower.
Also included are 4 USB power outlets and 2 6-foot USB extension cords, plus a cell phone windshield mount for hands-free navigation. If you like I can also throw in my iPhone 4S for GPS navigation if you don't have a smart phone of your own.
Standard safety equipment on the 2009 Subaru Outback includes front, front-seat side and two-row side curtain air bags and anti-lock brakes. An electronic stability control system, which Subaru calls Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), is now standard on all models.
The Subaru Outback has received perfect 5-star ratings in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) frontal and side-impact crash tests for both front and rear occupants. The Outback received a 4-star rollover rating.
Subaru Outbacks feature 8.4 inches of ground clearance-a figure that bests many bigger SUVs, the maker claims. The 4-cylinder automatic transmission models get an electronically controlled center continuously variable transfer clutch to shift power front-to-rear.
I’m happy to allow pets in the vehicle. Let me know and I will include a blanket for muddy paws. NO SMOKING PLEASE!
The vehicle is equipped with an ExpressToll sticker for the E-470 expressway around Denver. If you choose to use the road the tolls will be automatically charged after the Turo trip.
The official Turo policy on returning a vehicle (https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/207320447-Am-I-responsible-for-cleaning-the-car-before-I-return-it-) recommends cleaning the car inside and out before returning it. As a Colorado driver, I realize that driving on the roads in the winter means that the outside will typically be covered in road grime in a week's time. I also understand that it's hard to find the time to have the car washed on your way back to the airport. Therefore, so long as the car is clean on the inside my policy is to waive the cleaning fee.
