Description

This is a 4-door Metallic Brown 2009 Subaru Outback Limited Edition. It has an automatic 4-speed transmission, heated leather seats, Harmon Kardon 440-watt sound system with aux port and Sirius XM, panoramic sun roof, tinted rear windows, remote keyless entry, and a full-size hatch. It gets about 22 MPG in the city and 25 on the highway. It has new all-weather tires and all-wheel drive traction control which make it handle very well in both winter and summer driving conditions. The automatic transmission is complimented by the Sportshift mode which allows semi-manual shifting, handy when mountain driving. CONCIERGE SERVICE: Avoid the headache of other rental car services - the shuttle, the long lines, and dealing with upsetting salespeople! Unless circumstances prohibit, I will greet you at your baggage claim and personally escort you to my vehicle, typically located in the short-term parking garage. When you return, I'll meet you at baggage claim and you'll be on your way! 5-STAR RATING: I try to do everything possible to ensure your experience with the car is a good one, as demonstrated by a number of great 5 star ratings (see below). If you rent my vehicle and have a good experience, please do leave a 5 star review. If something wasn't to your satisfaction, please let me know as quickly as possible and I'll do everything I can to make it right. BOOK INSTANTLY: My vehicle is available for instant booking, so you won't need to wait on approval to book your dates immediately. EXTRAS (No Charge): Cargo Box: If you like, I can install a Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14 cargo box which adds an additional 14 cubic feet of storage space, perfect for your snow gear or additional luggage. If you don’t need it, I’m happy to remove it, which will allow much nicer views through the huge panoramic sunroof and better mileage. Ski/Snowboard Rack: Alternately, a Yakima FatCat 6 locking ski/snowboard rack which holds up to six pairs of skis or 4 snowboards is also available at no charge. Please note that the rack will not fit alongside the cargo box. Also included are 4 USB power outlets and a bluetooth audio interface so you can charge your phone and play your favorite jams! SAFETY/TECHNOLOGY: Standard safety equipment on the 2009 Subaru Outback includes front, front-seat side and two-row side curtain air bags and anti-lock brakes. An electronic stability control system, which Subaru calls Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), is now standard on all models. The Subaru Outback has received perfect 5-star ratings in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) frontal and side-impact crash tests for both front and rear occupants, and received a 4-star rollover rating. Subaru Outbacks feature 8.4 inches of ground clearance - a figure that bests many bigger SUVs. The 4-cylinder automatic transmission models get an electronically controlled center continuously variable transfer clutch to shift power front-to-rear.

Faqs

  • What about Tolls?
The vehicle is equipped with an ExpressToll sticker for the E-470 expressway around Denver, US-36 between Denver and Boulder, and the I-70 mountain toll road between Empire and Idaho Springs. If you choose to use the road the tolls will be automatically charged after the trip.
  • What is your cleaning policy?
As a Colorado driver, I realize that driving on the roads in the winter means that the vehicle's exterior will typically be covered in road grime in a week's time. I also understand that it's difficult to find the time to wash the vehicle on your way back to the airport. Therefore, so long as the car is clean on the inside my policy is to waive the Turo cleaning fee.
  • Can I bring my furry friend?
I’m happy to allow pets in the vehicle. Let me know and I will include a blanket for muddy paws.

It couldn’t have been easier! Matt met us at baggage claim upon arrival and departure. The Subaru was older but in great shape and we felt comfortable in the event of snow. Just like driving our own car. Matt was lovely to deal with.

Matt was great to work with. He was able to meet us in downtown at our hotel to drop off the car. It was very convenient that he had a cargo box on the top of the car which made it possible to hold all of our luggage including skis. He then was flexible by meeting us at the airport departures curb so all we needed to do was take out our bags and walk to the check in counter. It was waaaay more convenient than using a traditional rental car company. I highly recommend Matt.

Matt was super communicative and very helpful. Thank you for allowing us to use your vehicle, you helped make our trip excellent and helped us get to really beautiful places in Denver, Estes and Boulder!

Matt was very easy to communicate with and the Subaru Outback was the perfect vehicle. We opted for the ski rack and I'm glad we did - keeping boards and skis outside the car allowed us to keep the interior clean and use all the seats. We had multiple flight delays and Matt was willing to accommodate our changing schedule - I'm sure that wasn't easy to do but he did it with no issue. The AWD was crucial. We got a lot of snow and some roads would have been unsafe without it. The heated seats are a really nice addition and the wifi hotspot and satellite radio are nice to have. The only problem we ran into was the rear windshield wiper - which didn't work during our trip. Given Matt's professionalism I would expect this to be resolved promptly but on the days we had rough weather it sometimes meant sending someone into the road to help navigate backing up. Highly recommended and will plan to use again for our next trip!
