Yes, a 1994 Mazda for several hundred of dollars a day. If you are reading this you know what it really is and why it's worth it. Yes, she is my baby but I've had such a great experience renting out my pride and joy vehicles to other enthusiasts that I figure why not do it with this babied FD as well.
A long list of streetable mods that enhance the performance of the car including additional fuel(ecu), boost(controller 9/14psi), full 3" exhaust, aggressive EBC brake pads, slotted rotors, TEIN coilovers, Racing Beat sway bars, 18" OZ Superleggera wheels and many others. This is the incredibly rare R2 package with only 156 being imported in 1994. This is a very well cared for car with only 77K original miles on the body and motor and will only be rented to those that fully appreciate what it is, how to drive and enjoy it properly without any abuse. Motor rebuilds are expensive after all :)
91+ octane fuel with receipt is required
Strict mileage limits in place
This is an incredibly fun car to own and experience, I know you will enjoy and appreciate something that can no longer be built due to emissions, safety regs and fuel economy regulations which make this car such a rare gem. Rent it, feel the rush of the turbos non-sequential boost pattern, be amazed at the incredibly well balanced handling and powerful brakes this car has to offer. There are no driver aids other than ABS and this car rewards a patient and focused driver.
Call or email me with questions before booking, looking forward to connecting with other fans of this car.
Patrick was great! I could not have asked for a better experience for both host and car itself. His RX-7 is in amazing condition (and, if you grew up in the 90's, is full of nostalgia) and he went out of his way to ensure it was up to snuff prior to the start of the reservation. Getting to spend a day with an FD was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; the car is not for the faint of heart, and must be treated with respect. It's for the ultimate gearhead, and if you find your way to Patrick and his RX-7, I promise you're in for a extraordinary time. Thanks Patrick!
