Share my 2012 Chevy Volt! Comes charged when reserved a day ahead of time, for 30-40 miles of free driving! Once the electric battery is used the gas engine turns on for 300-380 total miles of range. So... use this car like a normal gas vehicle with unlimited range. It's marked as a hybrid, but really it's an EV for the first 35 miles with it's 10kW battery, which can be recharged in 4-10 hours with a house 120V or 240V outlet. But- you don't need to worry about charging if you don't want to. Has all-season tires with 'good' snow traction, but not great- so if you will drive to the mountains no matter the weather you may want another vehicle, but it's certainly appropriate for non-mountain snow driving.
Seats 4 adults comfortably with good trunk space. Comes with bike or ski racks if requested at time of booking. Back seats fold down for carrying cargo, or even sleeping if you're less than 5'10 tall! I'm new to Turo so please feel free to message if you have questions about the Volt or in general. Sometimes my husky takes rides in the backseat, but car is always well-cleaned before sharing. Smells clean and well-kept.
Denver International Airport- If you're coming into Boulder or along highway 36 I'm sometimes available to pick you up and drive you to your location. Alternatively, car can be dropped off at Denver International Airport and picked up using a lockbox, so early or late arrivals are not a problem. Expect to pay about $8-15 by card or cash to get car out of the economy lot. Closer lots are an option, too. In this case the battery will be about 1/2 charged with almost full tank of gas.
If you will have pet, that is ok. Just remember to report any damage to me, and pets incur a $30 fee for vacuuming and cleaning to prepare it for the next person. Thank you!!

If you would like delivery outside the city of Boulder, please contact me to confirm time, location, and availability.
For Denver International Airport use, we can do a few things. If you are staying in Boulder I can come pick you up if I am available. If you are going somewhere else, I can drop the car off in the economy lot (which is accessible by a free 10 minute shuttle ride) and costs about 8-$15 to exit depending on when I drop the car off. The car will be about half charged in this case.
I can also drop the car off in the West Garage, which is an easy 5-10 minute walk from baggage claim. Most times there are charging spots available so the vehicle will be charged when you pick it up. Since this is covered, close parking, the cost is $3/hr or $24/day to exit this lot.
Feel free to message me and we will work out the swap. Thanks!
No smoking allowed in car. Please let me know if you will have a pet in the car so I can leave the back seat cover in. $30 fee for pets for vacuuming and cleaning.
How can I charge this car?
Download the PlugShare app for a great way to find charge spots. You can use an "EV Charger" J1772 plug station, or the car's included charge cord with 120 volt household outlet (9-11 hours to charge) or 240 volt NEMA 14-50 outlet (4 hours to charge).

Chris is a great host. He made our trip easy and gave us great information about how to use the car. Car drove great, we barely used any gas!
