This card has mileage was Amazon! We drove from Denver International Airport to Boulder the first night. For a week we were driving to the Rocky Mountains, Denver and everywhere in between. We were even taking random drives through the mountains for the sights. The only time we needed to fill the tank at the end of the trip. It was a huge money saver.
Paul picked us up from the airport and let us take the car from there. At the end of the trip, we parked the car in short term parking and walked right into the airport. Paul made it very simple.
The car was clean, drove smoothly and did everything we needed it to do. I'd recommend this car for anyone who is going to be doing a lot of driving in Colorado.
I tried Turo at the recommendation of a friend in Denver for our weekend trip. Although there were a couple issues, Ryan that we rented from was great to deal with and very accommodating. The issues that we dealt with were that he brought the car to us directly from another rental so it was not cleaned up. Not a huge deal, but there were a few problems with the car when it was turned over to us. We noticed that the trunk was sunken in and when I checked to see if there was a spare, there wasn't but also, the trunk was full of oil spilled everywhere. We noticed this at the airport prior to Ryan leaving and showed it to him immediately. He was very apologetic and when I asked if he wanted us to try to clean it a bit while we had it, he mentioned that we could bring the tank back half full. We weren't able to use the trunk at all because of this since we didn't want the oil to get all over our luggage and things so a minor inconveniences. Some of the things that I wasn't totally pleased about was that the car was listed as a 2016 but when we looked at the insurance card it said it was a 2015, there was no wiper fluid, the low air pressure light turned on and off through out the weekend. I did text him about it and he mentioned that there shouldn't anything wrong with the tired. It was a little concerning because I wondered how it would be handled if the tire did go flat and I didn't have a spare. Finally, I was a bit concerned because Ryan was not available to pick the car up from me until after our flight took off so he had me leave it at the airport. Normally, I would never do that but we had a flight to catch and he didn't have any other options.
I feel like he was very polite about everything but we were also. It wasn't a perfect experience but I don't think it would stop me from trying a Turo again if my rental car options are limited or too costly which is what led me to this option in the first place.
Ryan was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the airport layout and worked with my schedule to make the pickup and drop off of the car very quick and easy. He is very professional and I would recommend his services to any friends flying to Denver.
