The car is exactly as described and allowed for a quintessential California experience (two weeks with the top down). David was super helpful at pick up in ensuring I knew how to operate the top and this car caused me no problems. While mechanically sound (and a pleasure to drive), given this is a 1992 BMW Turo has severely overpriced it ($19 per day, as I am currently in a 2016 Leaf for $16.50 a day).
Thank you David for allowing me to rent this convertible from an era where BMW built their reputation as the ultimate driving machine.
This was my first experience on Turo, and David set the bar very high. He responded almost instantly, and managed to accommodate my last-minute booking. He really knows his cars well, and make sure that I got something that I was happy with.
The car was very clean, well-maintained, and though older performed admirably throughout my rental.
I'll check out David's cars the next time I need a rental in the Bay Area.
David is kind, punctual and went above and beyond by dropping me off at the Caltrain station close by his home after the rental, thank you! I absolutely loved the car. This was my first experience with Turo and driving a BMW. I have to say I LOVED it. I would rent from David again, no question! I wish you the best in 2015!
It was my first rental experience using Turo and it was amazing. David is a wonderful person. He takes great effort to ensure that you get your best driving experience with his cars. And he'll go out of the way to do that for you. He has a great collection of cars including sticks which are pretty fun to drive. If you're looking for a reasonably priced rental in the Bay Area, David is the name.
