Not only can you be environmentally conscious by renting rather than putting another car on the road, you can be even more environmentally conscious by renting a car that gets ~45 mpg -- depending, of course, on how lead-footed you drive :o).
Unlike almost every Prius you'll find, this one has a sunroof, so you can better enjoy that same environment.
I have a device in my car that allows me to lock and unlock it remotely. Consequently, people are able to rent at odd hours (like when I'm at work - not when I'm asleep) because we don't need to meet in person.
In addition to a premium stereo and six-CD changer, there's a headphone-to-cassette adapter in the compartment just below the cassette player. (Yes, it's one of the last models to include both CDs and cassette.)
Lastly, I try to keep a sheet of Prius tips in the car for those who've never driven one before (or need a refresher). I say "try to" because people keep walking off with it. Please don't be one of those people. :o)
No smoking, please. Pets are OK only as long as they're in a carrier.

Cosmetically, the car is pretty worn: cracks, scratches, worn upholstery. It drives fine, though, and still gets great mileage as a hybrid. The Maintenance Required light is on, but doesn't mean anything serious. Also, there's a rattling from the steering column that doesn't seem to be anything to worry about either.
Andrew's Prius was perfect for a day trip up to Sonoma County. The process was the easiest Turo I have experienced as far as pickup and drop off. I was a little intimidated about the prospect of parallel parking on a hill when returning the car since I am not from SF but I was able to find a convenient spot easily. The car was very clean and in good shape with some fun Vampire Weekend CDs ready for the road. It gets about 40 mpg so we barely used any gas, making the refill cheap.
Great car, exactly as described. We drove all the way from SF to Yosemite, Big Sur, and back and got great mileage. Andrew was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Only complaint is that there is an annoying whistling sound that comes from the driver's side window. The tape adapter and good stereo helped block that out though, and it was overall a very positive first Turo experience!
It was parallel parked in a tough spot -- very close to the curb, tight in front and behind too, and on a steep hill. Kind of nerve-wracking getting it out. Other than that, great ride, and Andrew communicated really well and was flexible on pickup time.
Andrew and Saucy were great! Andrew was very helpful and Saucy was a smooth ride. I loved that he had directions in the car because i had never driven a Prius like that before. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again for my next trip.
Between my roommate and I, we have used Saucy and Sunny numerous times. It has great MPG and runs great. I would highly recommend Saucy and Sunny for a trip to Napa or a quick trip to the grocery store! Overall we have had a great experience with this vehicle.
I've borrowed Andrew's Prius more than once as the ride is great, it comes stocked with some accessories to keep your phone charged, and it's convenient for my location. Andrew's fairly accommodating as well, when I'm running late on a day-long rental.
Fun ride. The Prius instructions located inside were extremely helpful for someone who has never driven one! There is some construction going on in Bernal right now, so finding a parking spot in the evening is a bit of a pain. Overall, great trip. Thanks
What a great great car! The cell-phone-based access made life super super easy for me today with the sudden trip I had to take. Because this was my first-ever Prius experience, I SO appreciate (and needed) the awesomely clear and helpful printout which was right on the passenger seat, and had everything I needed to know. Thanks for sharing this car with us neighbors!
Love borrowing this car. It's super easy to drive and the fuel efficiency is wonderful. To top it off, I picked up the car less than a block from my house this time. That's convenience! Thanks Andrew :)
Great ride. No problems with the car, and loved the fuel economy of the hybrid. Bernal can be a tad difficult to park in, but in SF we're used to these things. Overall a good experience; I'd definitely rent this one again. Thank you, Saucy!
Amazing little car. It was clean, has an awesome navigation system and can play your music from your iphone/pod. Pretty good on gas, and was fun to ride around in with the moon roof open. On the down side, this car is a bit hard to get to if you're walking/bus. It's up some pretty steep hills. Other than my walk up the HILLS it was a great rental!
This was my first RelayRide experience and it went very smoothly. It was exactly as described and easy to locate. Bonus for the umbrella, as I was caught in some unexpected drizzle. I'd definitely borrow again!
Only issue was the "Maintenance Required" light was on. Also could use a rinse and vacuum.
Very well maintained and organized Prius. If you don't know how to start a Prius you may experience a moment of confusion before realizing that you have to stick the starter FOB into the dashboard. Otherwise great.
the car was great it drove like a true champ luv the sunroof and the walk there wasn't that bad but i think my mom lost her phone in the car well she bought a new one and i still luv this car and the color of it is very welcoming wine red well almost i know it was red lol
