1. Absolutely inconvenient rule "not less charge level" - not less 50 miles will be better (enough to recharge on supercharger) I got car at 142 miles level and returned at 160 miles. So the next customer should charge and return at 170 miles and so on. Sometimes customer get a car at full level and cannot use it at all. 2. car was not clean. 3. Texting out of Turo and additional contracts (with extra mileage fee higher than on Turo) 4. I did so much for this trip but Mark was so official. At first Mark confirmed a trip, Then some people - assistants they called - start to text me asking to cancel the trip because of Mark's plans was changed. I suggested to change time frame to save the trip I wait so much. They confirmed this new time frame, finally because of his assistant delaying I got a car 2 hours later but check-out they did not move. Why?
This was my first time using Turo but it was perfect! Mark had the car ready and waiting for me and indeed it was quite an amazing car. The P85 does NOT disappoint!! We had so much fun driving it and showing it off that I think we sold 5 of them, haha. If we don't end up buying one soon I'm sure we'll come right back to Mark and rent his. Loved it!

We did have a couple of issues, the interior of the car was delivered dirty enough I had to have it washed before surprising my wife, I stated we were taking a long trip, but no one told us that the range of the charge could be adjusted to extend it and we did not find out about this until the last charge on the way home.,I had called to ask if the car could go in the carpool lane with one person since there was no exterior sticker and never received a response, but also found out on the last day, in the glove box that there was a form to allow it to go in the carpool. So a little more info and better communication sure would have made the rental better.
The car itself was great, was delivered and picked-up on time and was as advertised. We did enjoy the car.
We loved renting this car. Mark was very nice and allowed us even to change a pick up time after we saw the bad weather forecast. The car was amazing and the amount of chargers in LA is overwhelming so you don't need to worry about recharging. The pick up location was the perfect start for the drive by the Pacific Ocean to Malibu or even further up. We had a great trip driving the car around the coast.
Nice P85 Tesla! Mark had his assistant check out and check in the car. He does require that the car is charged on return without extra fees, which might be tricky for some given limited charging options. I charged the car a the free Tesla super charger station in Culver City. I had a great drive up to Malibu and back for the day. Mark was quick to respond to texts during pick up and drop off.
I picked up the car and it was filthy. There was dust all over the dashboard and crushed potato chips in the seats. The Turo valet was embarrassed and relay called me to apologize. Furthermore, I paid for airport pickup and drop off, but the owner asked me to drop off at his house in Santa Monica and asked that I take an uber to the airport, at my own expense. He then wanted to charge me $50 for dropping off the car slightly less charged than when I picked it up. I refused since I was the one inconveniences and had already bent over backwards to return the car to his home instead of the airport like I paid for. Mike is a unreasonable person. I was not being unfair in asking that he drop the charge considering the inconvenience I had to deal with as a result of the dirty car and return. The car, however, is beautiful and drives well. Once I had it cleaned at my own expense it looked very nice.
Mark's Tesla is gorgeous. We loved the beautiful premium interior finishes (carbon fiber), the additional 2 seats in the trunk where our 8 year olds preferred to sit. Lots of room to store all our luggage between the front and back trunks courtesy of Tesla's electric engine and lack of mechanical parts (transmission, etc...) located near the wheels, leaving room for lots of space. We picked up Mark's Tesla with the Turo valet -- which was a breeze. Zach, the Turo valet, called us upon our arrival at LAX and picked us up with the Tesla 20 minutes later. Zach waited for us curbside to pick up the car when we were departing out of LAX. Thanks Zach! Can't get better than this!!!
Mark's Tesla Model S is beautiful and he made the experience very easy! This car will change your life and perspective on driving and cars in general and is worth every penny! Definitely will enhance your trip to LA!
