I also rent my car to people via Turo, and this rental experience was a bit ridiculous. Nikola requests that the people renting his car does all of his work for him - in addition to adding in the photos of the car (which is fine), he requested that I email him pictures of the current damage to the car when I received the car. As a renter, I only need to upload pictures to the app. He's requesting that renters do more than they need to, making the Turo rental experience a bit inconvenient. I was also given the car with a quarter tank full, which was annoying. Otherwise, the car drove well and he was great with communications. I wouldn't rent from him again though due to the inconveniences that are really not necessary.
Communication was great, helped me through my first booking, flexible on the time and easy to book. The car was dirty inside and out. And there was a blue aux cord left in cup holder but the car was too basic abs didn't have the ability. And the antenna was staticky so that was lame. Cheap rental rate tho.
Had some setbacks when booking this trip (key wasn't in the car, had to take a taxi to pick up a different car at an alternate location so left an hour later than I planned) but Nikola was incredibly prompt in responding to the situation.
Nikola is a great turo user but the car he rented me was not so great. Battery was quite dead when I got the car. Later in the day the car died at a pretty critical point and we had to call a tow company to jump the car, this was pretty expensive. Nice guy, not so sure about the jetta
Nice ride. Communication with the owner was easy, prompt and straightforward. We didn't meet in person. He asked for photos to be sent via app of the car and gas level before and after the trip which was very efficient. He had it all written up in the vehicle instructions in the app. I'd rent again.
