Owner was not present upon my arrival and instead conducted pick up procedure via text. This took extra time. I would have appreciated some advanced warning about this so that I knew what to expect.
I got a flat tire during this rental. I don't know whether this was a totally random occurrence, or a consequence of the tires already being worn down. In any case, the owner was very understanding of the situation and I appreciated that.
Very good service quick reliable and when there was any issues very quick to respond . Would rent again

The blue Toyota Camry is not a safe car. I don't know if it's just been driven hard or if hadn't been maintained (the check engine light was on), but there were multiple times on my drive where it felt like the car could lose control super easily. I had to go really slowly around curves, be super careful to not brake hard (or else the steering wheel would get really wobbly), and make sure that I didn't accelerate much during a sharp turn. I've driven a lot of cars, including much older cars, but have never driven one that felt this unsafe.
The convenience factor and price of Turo is great, but this is the second Turo car I've been in and neither of them were great. The last one (a green Ford Focus) clearly had transmission issues.
Everything worked well. The car runs amazing, super easy to ride, had a great roadtrip with the family heading south on PCH. The only "inconvenient" I had was when picking up the car. Nikolas advised me of the change of location at the time of pick-up, when I was already on my way to the listed location and after checking with him that the car was there. Otherwise, communication with Nikolas was pretty good. Thanks!
