This smart car feels like a fun go-cart you can use to zip around town. Comfy seats, higher safety ratings and more airbags than you'd expect!
The car is parked on the street. Feel free to park anywhere within a few blocks, as long as it's in a spot where it won't violate any parking restrictions within 24 hours of your return! Luckily it's a tiny Smart car so parking is easy and fun :-)

Car was ok. Had some issues but owner was very responsive.
The reason this person gets a star is because I'm forced to give one in order to proceed with a review.
Upon picking up the car, it had a parking ticket. That's fine, no biggie...it's not my fault.
The car smells and isn't the cleanest. I can even live with that.
The car started but when I went to put in drive, the car wouldn't go. The engine light was on and it started shaking. Since its parked on a hill, the car started to slide back and I had to pull up the brakes.
The car is in no condition to be rented out!
After waiting for a tow truck an hour later, zach was still unresponsive.
This is just cruelty. If you're not going to provide basic maintenance to cars being rented out, don't rent it at all!!
Zach was pretty responsive at first. I needed to confirm the rental car was going to be ready. but when time to pick up, he was no where to be found. It was partly my fault. I didn't know uploading pictures was going to open the car. But still. He was not there to respond to any of my messages. This happened again when the cars gear was stuck on my way back. He was not responsive at all. Luckily I tried a few more times and the gear was able to place in position to drop off. In short
1. Not berry responsive. His messages are all automated 2. The car is absolutely the worst rental car I've driven. Like others said, there's no charger. No aux outlet reachable.
****read: there's something wrong w the shift gear******** it couldn't shift into any gear other than parking or neutral. It was so scary that it just stopped working. Or did I mention? Zach was not responsive to my messages when this happened
The car obviously hadn't been cleaned for 6 months, at the very least. There are no Aux or charger inputs or cables of any kind as advertised. (The entire auxiliary jack had been ripped clean out of the glovebox, where it's normally located in smartcars.) The moon roof doesn't close because the closing fabric is missing, so be sure to pack sunglasses and sunscreen because the sun will be beating down on you. I had written many messages about the state of the car and received no response - only cookie cutter auto-responses when the trip began and ended. Gas mileage is great. If you're looking for a beater and don't care about cleanliness or music AT ALL, this is your car. If you're looking for a commuter car or a car for a long trip, I'd say look elsewhere.
This was my first time using Turo. I rented Zach's car initially for 2 days. I was rushing the morning of pick up and missed Zach's message of the exact location of the car. Zach was really nice, and he answered the phone immediately when I called. I even messaged him through the app a couple times and he got back to me within an hour every time. I even extended my trip by a day, and it was really easy to do. There were a couple bumps in the road, but Zach was on top of everything. Great little car for city driving. I would definitely recommend Turo, and more specifically Zach's car!
The car is affordable and got me from San Francisco to Napa for the weekend for very cheap. I was disappointed that it did not have an aux cord or USB hookup as advertised and when I texted Zach about it twice he never responded.
I really felt unsafe driving this car. And I drove small cars before and never felt like that. Everything seems like it can brake any time. breaks, gas and the car would start spinning. Reverse on the car didn't work few times(I have a video to prove). Car doesn't worth the money to rent.
Once I got the car it was 5 stars. Unfortunately when I arrived at the car in the morning I had to call customer service as I was unable to get in touch with Zach about the remote unlock. This was at 5am and I finally got in contact with him just after 6am. Luckily I still made it where I needed to be in time but a much unexpected stress to my trip.
