1) Banging sound system in a little cabin is fun. Bluetooth, aux cable, ipod cable.
2) Ridiculous race stripes, carbon fiber trim, punk bumper spikes, specially painted rims, impeccable interior.
3) Power steering. Smarts with power steering feel much more confident on the road.

You definitely get what you pay for here. This car isn't great for long distances or hills as mentioned in previous reviews, but it's a tiny smart car so definitely to be expected. The sound system is loud, however it flashes a rainbow of colors without end unless you turn the entire thing off, which is actually quite distracting in the dark.
I had a few issues with the return, but communication was quick and helpful.
Definitely a solid choice for a low cost day trip.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues I had with this trip. First, the address I was given was not where the car was. The location of the cart should've been mentioned in the initial reply msg I got about the rental. Instead, I arrived to the location and was then told the car was at a different location, which turned out to be an uphill 10 minute walk! Very frustrating. The car was also fairly dirty and the driving was very jerky throughout the day. It only seemed to drive smooth on the freeway. Also I feel that one of the speakers sounded blown. On a positive note, Christian was friendly and apologetic about me having to walk. The price was a deal...If you give the location of the car early on so others won't deal with what I dealt with, and got your car checked...it could be an all around positive experience.
Great car and Christian was helpful when I had a few questions on how to get it started (my first Turo). The car itself is easy to drive and super appropriate for the city since it's quite tiny. Great fuel economy too. Drove it for some 100 miles and it only cost me $5.50 of gas.
