Parking details

Always take the end of the trip pictures at a well lite gas station when you fill up. Find 24 hours of legal street parking. Message me when is street cleaning. Home base is 936 Geneva Ave, San Francisco, Ca 94112. And parking legal anywhere on the street between 2 to 3 blocks away from home please. There are (Rolph st. Curtis st. Morse st. Newton st. Tung was very flexible, calm, and patient with my travel plans. The only things I would change is adding a reminder message upon booking to read the instructions. I overlooked the part where Tung needed a ride and it added 45mins to my ETA for work, and I would also remove the air freshener. It made me very nauseous and much of my clothes still smells like it. I also paid the cleaning fee but wouldn't have if I had known it wasn't already perfectly clean and if I had known someone else's stuff would be in there, like papers and used Gatorade bottle. All-in-all I would rent it again because of the price and Tung's great customer service.

Tung’s Scion iQ was awesome. Extremely unique iQ with beautiful Italian Sparco wheels. The car handled like a dream and zipped around like a champ. My daily driver is a golf GTI and this little car proved itself time and time again. Parking is insane breeze. If you are visiting San Francisco do it in style with this Scion iQ.

Where do I begin? This trip was a nightmare. I booked this vehicle for pick up and drop off at SFO, San Francisco's airport. If you are trying to do the same, LOOK ELSEWHERE AND DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY! Less than 24 hours before my scheduled pickup, the host messaged me and told me that I needed to pay him $15 extra for him to Uber home from the airport. He was trying to get me to give him cash outside of the Turo app which is against Turo's Policy. He convinced me that I could save some money and persuaded me to Uber to his location to pick the car up. With not much time to change my plans I reluctantly agreed. This was out of my way and a huge inconvenience, but I just wanted to get the car and continue with my trip. I didn't realize it at the time, but this would also apparently change my drop off location. I would have never booked this car if I knew I would not be able to pick up and drop off at SFO. I would have never changed the pick up location had I known that it was also going to change my drop off location. So not only was I inconvenienced at the time of pick up, but I also had to deliver it back to his neighborhood at 4am and catch an Uber from there to the Airport. My two Uber rides costed me $50. The host also text me a pick up address that did not match the address on his listing, which made me feel unsafe. Apparently he doesn't have any available parking at his physical address. This creates another problem because he instructs you to just leave the car somewhere within 2 or 3 blocks of his address, but it isn't that simple. You have to find a place to park it legally, and apparently it is supposedly your responsibility to park it at a place where it can stay for 24 hours AFTER your drop off time. I learned this at 9pm the night before I had to drop it off at 4am when he messaged me and told me that I could be held responsible for parking tickets up to $1000, YES, one thousand dollars. It is absolutely ridiculous that the host is not required to provide a safe place to drop the car off. Imagine dealing with this at 4am and trying to find a good place to park it, in the dark, in an unfamiliar city, in a heavily populated neighborhood, and trying to make sure you can get an Uber to catch your flight on time, NIGHTMARE! On top of all of this there were SEVERAL problems with the vehicle. The car is not accurately represented in the pictures. Instead of having nice silver hubcaps, the car has ugly red rims that look like they were spray painted. Who puts red rims on an orange car? TACKY! The car is covered in dings and scratches. It is almost impossible to photograph them all. Literally every panel of the car is scratched or dented in some way. The Maintenance Required Light and the Tire Pressure Light was on. The tires are bald which is incredibly unsafe driving in San Francisco, especially in the rain which we had to deal with. The worst part, whoever owns this car is obviously the owner of a bad smelling dog. The smell is absolutely terrible and unbearable. After picking up the car, we had to buy cans of glade air freshener. We blasted the car with air freshener every single time we got out of it and it barely helped. My clothes smelled like a wet dog and we had to deal with some dog hair too, disgusting. Also the car was not cleaned prior to us picking it up. The owner of the car was rude, inconsiderate and unapologetic. When voicing my frustrations to the host he replied, "I'm not a morning person either, It's not the end of the world, you better get some sleep." If I could give zero stars, I would.
