BEST DEAL on a boxster in SF!!!
See my other listing for great reviews of this car.
One way rental to San Francisco. One way rental to Los Angeles. Amazing!
In a Boxster, you are a star. The pedals are part of your feet, the stick shift and steering wheel are part of your hands. Every corner will feel like an instinctive movement. Your rev-matched downshifts will outperform Porsche’s PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung - fancy German abbreviation for a dual clutch). Man and machine are united as one, like pedaling a fixed-gear bike but with a lower calorie burn.
Sink the clutch and squeeze the brake pedal. Float the stick through the gears from third to second without so much as brushing the gate. Foot cocked like a pigeon-toed toddler, your heel drops, your ankle rolls, and the outside of your right sole jabs the throttle, all the while maintaining even pressure on the brakes. Revs rise, your left foot lifts, and the payoff - the payoff is that flat-six barking at 5,000 RPM and the perfect setup for this tight right-hander coming up.
This is a Porsche Boxster Period
A few details about the car:
> All Leather interior (dark maroon) - with sport wheels from Porsche with the golden Porsche badge on them
> Climate control (set the temperature, sit back and relax)
> Power Seats (18 way - driver and passenger)
> Manual (6 speed) - 280 Horsepower
> Mid Engine - Rear Wheel drive - 6 cylinder - Boxer engine (hint: that's how the name was born - Boxer + Roadster = Boxster !! get it :)
> Convertible top (it has one of the fastest top up/down times ~ 13 secs is how long it takes for the roof to go down or back up)
> One of the few cars that have two trunks - yep - one in the front (Frunk that's what Tesla calls its front trunk in its model S ) and one in the back
> To top it all of, since the roof folds down onto the engine it wont take up any space from the Trunk or the Frunk

Had a blast! Spinsir was helpful and accommodating. His car is in great condition and CLEAN. We rented his car because we are thinking about buying a Boxter and this was so much more useful than a dealer test drive. (Go for a dealer test drive first to make sure you fit, make sure you know how much luggage space there is, make sure you actually know what kind of transmission you want, etc, then GO RENT SPINSIR'S and drive for 400 miles !!!!) Thanks for a great weekend!
