So all contact was with Leticia, the person I assume is the actual owner of the vehicle. I'm not sure how Krishnakumar comes into play because he seems to have Porsches all over San Fransisco, including this one according to Turo.
I showed up at the arranged pickup time as Leticia was leaving to get gas. I waited around and a few minutes later she was back with a full tank. She kindly took the time to show me the vehicle and its nuances. There were some minor things that were broken/not working properly, but I didn't expect it to be in perfect condition for the bargain price I got it for. The engine was peppy and the car was fun, no doubt about it. When braking, the car shakes if you're at highway speeds. Nothing a good machining of the rotors couldn't fix though. Leticia kindly extended the drop off time to accommodate a delay in my schedule. She was out when I attempted to drop off the Porsche, so I nervously left the key in a mailbox as directed when I got her on the phone. I would recommend this vehicle to someone who is looking for a decent convertible to explore San Fransisco and the surrounding area. Be aware though, she needs a tiny bit of TLC but is definitely worth the amount of money she costs.
We had a great drive with the Porsche. Wonderful car, in good shape, everything worked very well. Pick up and delivery was flexible and very del taken care for. We hope to come over from Europe next time to hit the road again, Frans and Arrienne form Amsterdam.
Fantastic car. Very enjoyable driving the roads near Stinson beach and Mill Valley. Small issue with the hood which will no doubt get fixed straight away. The car is well cared for and will definitely rent again.
Great communication and loved the Boxster. Well maintained and in good nick for age. Had an unfortunate issue with the drivers seat jamming forward which I'm sure Krishna will get fixed right away, but I guess my only advice is don't slide the drivers seat right forward if you drop something behind it! Big thanks also to Leticia :)
Loved driving his 2003 Boxter convertible in SF area. He is very accessible in communication and in person. The process was easy and is what he described to be. Krisnakumar is nice and informative. Overall great first experience with Turo.
Krishnakumar was very helpful and answered all of my many questions in a timely manner. My brother and I took the boxster to the 17 mile road and the Big Sur. The twisting road was a perfect match for the car's impeccable balance and willingness to turn.
By speaking with Krishnakumar, I immediately noticed that he is a car enthusiast and thus keeps his cars in pristine condition. I highly recommend this car to anyone who wants to take a road trip and enjoy what Northern California has to offer in a sports car.
Great car, really fun to drive. Krishna was very easy to deal with and quick to respond, he talked me through the car when I went to pick it up and then off we went - easy as that. Car was very responsive and so had a great time driving through winding mountain roads as well as along route 1 with the top down. Would highly recommend this car to others.
The owner of this car was exceptional in his willingness to accommodate our scheduled arrival and departures at the airport. Easy to reach and responded quickly to requests. Very easy transaction. Three suitcases was a bad idea on our part and nearly did not fit. The car was quite fun for our drives around wine country with the top down. It runs well but has a lot of miles on it (146K in 8/14) and rides like the odometer suggests it might. I still recommend it for the great service and top down option.
