Remote key handoff - very easy. I can unlock for you remotely and so am not fussy on exact pickup time and can be flexible on return too.
This is a solid, powerful, luxurious car. Leather interior. Powerful 3.5L V6 engine. Everything works perfectly, very well maintained and low miles. Has lots of nice touches - perfect condition leather interior with wood trim, heated seats, heated steering wheel, fold in mirrors, auto dimming rear view mirror, good stereo, power seats both sides. All that luxury car stuff! It's a good car for a night out or a date, and is good on the open road too. Handles well for such a big car. MASSIVE trunk.
Heated steering wheel
Parked on the street. Even though SF is not easy, where it's parked in SOMA there are spots virtually every day in the afternoon and evenings are no problem at all. The only exception is Monday night because of street sweeping. I know the streets around here very well, so ask me - I can help you find a spot. Text me if you have questions or need help. If you have to return in the morning you can park in the lot at 40 Oak Grove St. If it's late morning (11am or later) most days during business hours I can allow you to park at a 2 hr spot or at a meter - but only by arrangement via text.
I do remote key handoff. I will require your drivers license and photo per Turo terms - https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001847347-How-do-remote-key-handoffs-work- Also I ask that you photograph the odometer before and after your trip and let me know if you went over mileage. I am flexible with mileage but we have to discuss it first. I keep my prices low this way. Thanks!
No pets. NO EXCEPTIONS! I will charge you if there is pet hair because it's really bad for the next renter. No driving in the snow!
No smoking. ANYTHING. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Gas is not included. Whether or not it is full when you got it, and whether is seems to move the gauge, put some in! You used some gas driving around. It gets 22-29mpg depending on your driving. There is a very handy Chevron station at 6th and Harrison just a couple blocks from where the car usually is. If it's not full when you get to it you can report that in the app.
If it's not full when you return it you'll pay for the gas plus $10 filling fee
If you go over a toll bridge, please pay cash. If you can't, tell me - there is a $4 processing fee if you tell me, and it's up to $25 penalty if you don't tell me. Saying when you rent that you are "Going north" or "Going to Yosemite" does not qualify as informing me! You must tell me at the end of your rental via text, so I can add it on right away. If you go over the golden gate bridge you can pay in advance or within 48 hours of going over - please be considerate of my time and pay in advance! https://www.bayareafastrak.org/en/guide/GGBridgeToll.shtml Thanks!
C.j. was very friendly, patient, and helpful with my first time Turo reservation. I had many questions that he answered quickly and kindly so I could get on, and stay on, the road for my last minute emergency trip. I'm grateful for his support and for sharing his comfortable and easy to drive car.
Great bang for your buck! Took this car for a day trip with a buddy to Muir Woods and a couple other spots around the Bay Area.
The car functions well especially for a 2004 model, and he even put in an audio input cable which was not standard for 2004 models.
The remote locking makes this car really convenient. We went over to the parking spot at a time that was most convenient for us and he was able to unlock the car remotely after I texted him. When we finished, all we had to do was text for a parking spot (in the same area) and drop the car off.
Overall, C.J.'s car is a great value on Turo. I'd definitely rent again.
Cj was very helpful and responded very quickly to all my texts/messages. He was also very flexible regarding many details, such as pick up and return time, etc. The car drives nice and is convenient for either city or highway driving. I recommend Cj!
