I'd like to introduce you to my 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid, Franco. Why Franco? Because I have known two Francos in my life, and they were both notable for being exceptionally happy, authentic, and friendly. You could do worse in a car.
It's a hybrid car, so the pick-up, braking, and general handling is all very smooth (not to mention great fuel efficiency). There's definitely some wear and tear on the vehicle, but nothing to be worried about — just don't abuse him too much :)
Franco has quite a bit of room in the back seat, so if you're moving stuff around, or doing any long-distance travel, he'll be a good companion. There is also split climate control system, so you can still enjoy a cool breeze even if your co-pilot chooses to roast themselves alive.
The only thing I ask is that you treat Franco like you would your own car, and, if you're willing, write where you went in the reviews (fun to keep track of).
My car is parked in the Moscone Garage at 255 3rd Street. You can find it parked in a Getaround spot either at street level at the back of the garage or basement level next to the ramp. You'll find the key located in the sun visor organizer on the driver side, please return it there at the end of your trip. The garage access card is in the car, so please DO NOT pull a ticket when you get in to the garage. (You'll be charged for the parking ticket if you do). The garage is not accessible 24/7. If you are late and cannot return it to the parking spot, you'll need to rent it overnight and return it in the morning. These are the garage hours: Sun: 9:00 am-9:00 pm Mon-Thu: 6:00 am-12:00 am Fri: 6:00 am-2:30 am Sat: 8:00 am-2:30 am.

The owner cancelled this trip 1 day before it started. This message was automatically posted by Turo.
Alex was very responsive about remote key entry and gave helpful answers to questions I had, like where to park when returning the car. The Altima is a decent sized sedan, so being hybrid made a difference on gas use. Sure there's a bit of coloration on the trunk exterior, but the car runs well and held passenger in comfort so know it and enjoy the rental!
This was a seamless experience. Alex was quick to respond and made the whole process easy. The car was perfect to get me down the peninsula for a wedding in Saratoga. I would definitely book this car again.
It was easy communicating with Alex and his car did the trick. It was a bit dirty on the inside (leftover crumbs, some trash in the cup holders and side doors) and a bit scuffed on the outside, but so long as you don't need to impress anyone it was fine, and the mileage on his hybrid was great.
Alex was highly flexible and a fantastic owner to rent from for my weekend trip to the Peninsula! The hybrid car drives wonderfully. Really appreciate Alex's responsiveness leading up to and during the wedding. Would definitely rent from him again!
Great trip! Drove to Clearlake from SF for the weekend. Car has plenty of room for 4 people and is very smooth to drive. Alex was super easy to communicate with and has a great remote lock/unlock system that makes things very easy. Recommended to everyone!
Car was very dusty on the outside and the top of the trunk is rusting away so it doesn't look anything like the pictures. But it ran very nicely. Large tank for a hybrid though it took 50$ to fill it up. Finding a drop off spot was a nightmare. But overall a good experience.
Great car rental. The location of the car is super awesome, dolores park and shopping areas are nearby in case you need to pick anything up before or after you hit the road. It comes with a gadget that lets you know an hour in advance when to move the car so you don't get ticketed. There isn't an actual key, it's a push start, which threw me off once or twice but it made it easier to keep my keys on my carabiner the whole time. Super gas efficient and has an Aux cable for music and USB outlet to charge your phone.
