I hate leaving bad reviews, but this experience leaves me no choice but to do so. This was my first time using the Turo app and it was very stressful. We had a tough time finding the car and getting inside the car as well. We asked Nikola to help us since it was our first time but every time he did he continued with the same response "read the instructions". When we finally found the car and got into the car, we noticed that the car was dirty inside (clearly not checked in upon). In addition, we took it around the block and noticed that the car started to shake when it went past 25 mph. We did not feel safe taking this car so we re-parked it and contacted Nikola that we could not take the car anymore. He said that he was far away and could not help up in this situation so he said "Either take the car as it is or I can cancel this for you". We decided to cancel the ride and he agreed. HOWEVER, upon agreement on cancellation we still received the full bill for the car. We tried contacting Nikola multiple times- no response. Turo contated Nikola and got him to agree to only half a refund- while we discussed full cancellation!!! Not only was this extremely stressful, but in addition we had to go to a car rental place to rent another car. Beyond ridiculous that we had to pay for a car that we did not even use and was agreed to be cancelled!!!!!!!!!
The car was a great drive, does need maintenance. Interior is great, it's a perfect size for a small family or a few friends. Enjoyed it for the few days I had it, the excessive need for pictures was a little overwhelming. I used the car for errands not a trip so I didn't get a chance to photograph the car as much as they requested. Women who talk to you are super sweet & understanding. Will definitely ride with Nikola again. ❤
Car was dirty and when I used the wipers there was no water to wash and clear the windows. The car also shook at highway speeds.
This was my first time using Turo and was not aware of all their policies. I was charged a late fee after I asked the owner Nikola if it was ok to extend my time. His answer was yes, but told me about the late fee after the time I needed to turn the car in. In short he can still reverse my late fee but has not done so. Not very cool treating a first time user of TURO.

The car is not the year model that it is being marketed as (it is an older car and drives like an ancient car), when I arrived it was low on gas (near empty), there were dirty socks in the passenger seat (it clearly had not been cleaned) and the car was not great to drive - I felt unsafe the entire time. Midway through the ride, low tire pressure light turned on which made me even more nervous. Communication with the owner was at least fast, and I had no problem getting into the car without the owner.
It was a great car runs good. Even though it wasn't the exact car I rented. The owner manage to find another one of his cars for me which was only a couple cars up! Thank you so much I really do appreciate that.
For my first trip, not good..first, had to take many pics before entering the car, then when I finally entered the car it was dirty and had a bad smell. Second, picked it up an hour late and wanted to extend it an hour for drop off. had to go through customer service to refund me my money which had to be approved by Nik, which did not happen..dont use this car unless you want a headache, pay more and a dirty car
I wouldn't rent this car again. When I picked it up it was dirty inside and out. There were cigarette ashes, crumbled papers, and screws in the in multiple places around the car. The ceiling light inside of the car was missing! When it became dark the entire inside of the car was dark! I had to use the light on my cell phone which became irritating. Another thing that kept bothering me was that periodically the car wouldn't start. I had to keep contacting the owner to unlock his car with the app that he has to track the car. That was even more irritating. Won't rent again.
