New renters get $25 off https://turo.com/referral?code=441935rnw6im Need Uber to get to the car? https://www.uber.com/invite/kup68zz1ue
Remote key handoff! Easy. I can unlock remotely and won't stress if you're late picking up or want to change return time.
Fun, fun car, power convertible roof you can open while driving! Whee! VERY fun to drive. SUPER SHORT! Can park in teensey places - much easier to find parking places in SF! Still has seating for 4 though!
This convertible is classy and cool, but is a very modern car with some neat new amenities like backup distance warning, six speed automatic transmission, trip computer, a couple USB ports so you can use almost any phone charge cable directly, a good Bose sound system with aux jack and nice things like auto volume control based on speed.
It also handles and drives very well with a six speed automatic transmission. Gets very good mileage - 35-40mpg on the highway and up to 30 in town.
Also has a real trunk (separate from the cabin) - it's of course small :)
No smoking or pets please!
The speakers are not blown as one review states. The AUX jack was broken from being mishandled. I have had it replaced. Please be gentle with it! Thanks
Parked on the street at 128 Morris st. Park on the street, NOT in the lot. Even though SF is not easy, where it's parked in SOMA there are spots on morris most days day in the afternoon and evenings are no problem at all. The only exception is Monday night because of street sweeping. Monday night you can find a spot on Oak Grove or Merlin St. I know the streets around here very well, so if you are having trouble text me- I can help you find a spot. If you have to return in the morning you can park in the lot at 40 Oak Grove St. Very inexpensive at $10 usually. If it's late morning (11am or later) most days during business hours I can allow you to park at a 2 hr spot or at a meter - but only by arrangement via text.

I do remote key handoff. I will require your drivers license and photo per Turo terms - https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001847347-How-do-remote-key-handoffs-work-
No smoking. ANYTHING. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Gas is not included. Whether or not it is full when you got it, and whether is seems to move the gauge, put some in! You used some gas driving around. It gets 30-45mpg depending on your driving. There is a very handy Chevron station at 6th and Harrison just a couple blocks from where the car usually is. If it's not full when you get to it you can report that in the app.
If it's not full when you return it you'll pay for the gas plus $10 filling fee
If you go over a toll bridge, please pay cash. If you can't, tell me - there is a $4 processing fee if you tell me, and it's up to $25 penalty if you don't tell me. Saying when you rent that you are "Going north" or "Going to Yosemite" does not qualify as informing me! You must tell me at the end of your rental via text, so I can add it on right away. If you go over the golden gate bridge you can pay in advance or within 48 hours of going over - please be considerate of my time and pay in advance! https://www.bayareafastrak.org/en/guide/GGBridgeToll.shtml Thanks!
This was my first Turo rental. C.J. was very helpful. I had to prepay Golden Gate tolls and he explained how to do that. I was nervous about parking on Monday night, due to street cleaning, and he was helpful with that also. He answers texts promptly. The Fiat was fun to drive! It was a beautiful day and we had the top open and drove to lookout points and through parks. The Fiat was easy to park in Chinatown for dinner. I wanted a one day rental from 9am - 10pm. Called rental companies- they close at 6pm. After hours return has a charge of $25. Return to different location, that is open later (SFO airport), was apx. $50. Overnight parking lot was apx. $40. Turo gave us flexibility and a fun car. Great experience overall.
The communication was absolutely without problems all the time. I received car clean and most of the time it went smooth.
Car is nice, enough space for 2 people, it´s just pretty loud, that´s maybe the only thing I found out it was a bit disturbing, but all the other factors were great.
Very clean. Fun to drive. Loved having a convertible. Took it north to Muir Woods and Sausalito and it was awesome driving across the Golden Gate Bridge with the roof open. Would absolutely rent again.
While there were some initial snags (locking mechanism, security system), CJ was Johnny on the spot with helping solve each and every issue. He even came to the car himself to ensure that we left in a timely manner!
As for the car, it was great for our Sonoma Valley adventure! With the top down, we zipped around in the summer sun with no problems at all.
My only gripe was the general cleanliness of the car and the sound system. While it wasn't dirty, it wasn't exactly in the cleanest shape. And the sound system might have some problems with it as the speakers seemed blown.
Being from Spain and the first time I rented from TURO. I would not go back to "professional" renting companies!
The communication with CJ was very good. All very smooth. Car as advertised... flawless!

The whole process was so smooth. Car was parked. I hit the road. Returned the car where it was parked. Had this lovely convertible FIAT and enjoyed 10 days of beautiful Bay Area weather. Cj was easy to deal with, friendly and responsive.
