There's just no other way to say this: this car has 30k miles on it. It's practically new.
Apparently it's been sitting in a garage for the past 9 years. The clutch is amazing, it's like a knife through butter.
Her name is Hollie and she has everything you'd expect from a BMW:
- light weight with 255 HP in sport mode
- auto soft top
- heated seats
- 27 mpg on the highway
- head-turning style to impress
If you are comparing this car to a Porsche, the major difference is that the engine weight is in the front so when you take a turn you won't feel like there's a large bear hanging onto the back of the car. It's also lighter and brakes faster which makes it safer to drive.
Go easy on the clutch please as I want to keep it in good shape for many years to come.
Also, included is valet parking which should make your SF parking experience easier than it otherwise might be. Any local will vouch that this is critical.

Great experience. Very easy and good communication. Wonderful car
Zach's Z4 was the perfect car for our weekend in Napa. He picked us up right on time from Oakland airport, the car drove beautifully, and we are so happy that it was available for the weekend.
We would also like to thank Zach for his flexibility. After our other car was cancelled at the last minute, he approved our biking the same morning we flew in, and allowed us to extend it another day toward the end of the trip.
Zach was a pleasure to deal with. He suggest we rent another one of his BMW convertibles as it was 2 blocks away from our hotel. His Black BMW is in very good condition and drives just as you'd expect a BMW to. I would highly recommend this car/renting from Zach!
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in San Francisco and wanted to take a nice drive with the top down. We originally selected Zach's white Z4 but he was nice enough to offer up the black one which was closer to us and in slightly better condition at the same price. It was my first time using Turo and Zach made the experience very easy. He even Venmo-ed me the difference of the two cars right after the trip was finish. Excellent service. Nothing like cruising through San Fran in a drop top Z4!
We were disappointed with our rental from Zach. First I couldn't get a non-automated confirmation of our rental until 8pm evening before our 10 am rental. Then the car. Nothing kills the first impression of a convertible like a coat of dust. Don't get fooled by shiny pictures – that's not the experience you're getting. Interior was gross as well. Finally the dash was a Christmas tree of exclamation marks. I learned a lot about BMW dash icons: thin break pads, traction control malfunction, airbag malfunction?! Stay away.
My husband and I had a great time in Zach's BMW Z4! I surprised my husband for our anniversary and he had a blast driving up through wine country and up to Clearlake! It was easy communicating with Zach to coordinate pick-up and drop-off.
Zach was prompt, polite, and cordial. He made sure I had all of the information I needed to have a successful trip. Overall I would definitely rent off of him again.
Now about the car: the z4. Boy, could there be a better car for cruising Cali and the bay area? I don't think so. Clean, nimble, athletic.. there are a bunch of adjectives that work. But when it's all said and done, it's a beemer.
Zach was quick and responsive with my messages which was nice since this is my first time using Turo. Car was fun! Although a little messy on the inside (but this is probably more of an issue of who used the car last). Definitely recommended!
I rented Zach's fantastic Z4 for a trip down the Pacific Coast Hwy, and the car and the experience could not have been better. Zach was very responsive, the car was perfect for Hwy 1, and pick up and drop off were easy and smooth. A great experience!
This is my second time renting from Zach and the process was, again, smooth and painless. The garages he uses all know the process and are a great way to get a car if you're in the city. The Z4 has plenty of power for the winding roads south of SF. And it has hill assist while you're in the city. Great choice! Just do it.
This car Is super fun! I highly recommend driving it through the Santa Cruz hills--corners and banks like butter. Extremely low mileage for a 2006, excellent condition. And Zach is superlatively obliging and flexible. 5-star experience all-around.
We just came back from a wonderful day trip along highway 1 and drove all the way to the Russian river. Driving this route in the convertible stick-shift BMW Z4 was a blast!, The weather was great, the car a total joy and Zach was very helpful, friendly and trust worthy. Zachs car looks as new, immaculate, clean and very well kept. Thanks
