Description
PERFORMANCE:
This M4 is a beast. Beyond the stock M4, it has more aspiration intake due to high-performance filters. This car is not for the faint of heart, it's literally an adrenaline machine. When building this spec, I balanced features with weight and weight ratio so the car would be nimble. As such, it's equipped with a carbon fiber roof. I left off silly options like adaptive suspension that added weight and messed with the steering and intended handling of the M4 design team.

GAS:
Only use Premium 91+ octane. If you don't, the car will know and will flag it and will also go into "limp" mode which will shut down high-performance driving until the octane is corrected. I'm not kidding.

FEATURES:
BWM's acclaimed S55 Twin-Turbo V6 puts out 455hp @5500 rpm.

Wheels: 19" x 9" Front & 19" x 10" Rear Black Light Alloy
Tires: 255/35R19 Front & 275/35R19 Rear

PERFECT FOR:
Trips to Sonoma, Napa, PCH, taking a date or business contact out, impressing your mom, making Porsche and Tesla drivers feel inadequate, trips to Hogs Island/Point Reyes.

LIMITATIONS:
This car is NOT fit to go to Tahoe. When I go to Tahoe, I rent. This car has *summer* low profile tires on it. No amount of traction control will save you in the snow or ice with this car. Way too much torque, and too sticky of tires. Please do not attempt to rent this if you're going to Tahoe. It would not be wise. My daily mileage limit is not negotiable.

FIT:
The car will easily seat a 6'5" driver, maybe more. You could fit 4 adults in this, but not 5. Trunk is pretty decent size for 3-4 suitcases.

IS THIS FOR ME:
It's best for those with experience with manual transmissions. The double clutch will be super easy for you. If you don't know manual, I recommend keeping it in automatic and sport mode. That is still plenty fun.

CAR PICKUP:
I don't to deliveries. I have to meet each renter and go over the features like "M Mode," as that's one you have to understand fully. It's too long to type anyway.

DRIVER EXPECTATIONS:
I'm a true car geek, so this car is kept in pristine condition. Ideally I seek renters who appreciate the same and will keep the car in this condition. Note that I scan the entire exterior for blemishes before and after each rental. On another car, I had a lot of rim damage. This one has none, but repairing these are about $1,000 a pop for even a minor rim rash, so be careful when parking at a curb. Assume you're closer than you are! Also, assume with every parking space, that the cement wheel stopper is closer than it looks. The park distance control can only "see" those for a brief time before the front will hit them. It's that low. It won't clear them and front-end damage on this is expensive due to carbon fiber parts. Note that I do not allow "tracking" this car at Sonoma, or any other, raceway. Insurance doesn't cover it, and nor does the rental fee for new tires. The car has advanced cellular telemetry systems that remotely report anything out of normal usage, so if you're doing something you shouldn't, assume that there is proof of it and that I (and Turo) will see it. I also ask that you don't smoke (tobacco or otherwise), and don't bring pets. Pets tend to scratch the carbon fiber and aluminum trim. I will see it. Any damage not covered by insurance is your responsibility. Lastly, and I can't believe I have to say this: do not drink and drive in the car. I had a renter do this, and left spills and empty bottles in the car. He was reported to both this company and the police. He was kicked off of this service permanently and fined heavily for full detailing and repair of damage. I'm a litigation lawyer, so please don't give yourself problems by not being decent and respecting this car.

LIKE IT? WANT TO KEEP IT?:
Buy be out then! $67,000 (including tax) and it's yours through third party financing offer around $1,039/mo for 72 mos. for qualified applicants. Ask me if you're interested.

Parking details
Parking can only be in my garage. Don't ever return it outside. There are rampant window break-ins in this neighborhood just like the rest of San Francisco. The garage opener gets you in. If I can meet you, I will. If not, please park in a space that's not too tight, and away from other cars if possible/available.

FAQs
How is the ride?
It's VERY TIGHT SUSPENSION. You will not be very comfortable driving on crappy San Francisco streets. Out in nice streets in Marin you will be super happy.
Can I track this?
No.
Any special care when driving?
Yes. The roads in SF suck a lot. They damage rims. Please watch the road very carefully and try to avoid massive potholes, giant steel nails on steel plates, wood, debris, poor asphalt fillings, chopped up train rails, etc.
Can I go to Tahoe?!
I don't know how to drive manual. Is this car good for me?
Sure, you could keep it in automatic, but this car is much better suited for those familiar and have experience with manual performance transmissions.
