This is an electric car with a max range of 60-80 miles on a full charge, depending on driving style and driving environment. It also is only designed for four people (four seatbelts).
The car can be charged for free at the fast charging stations on the NRG EVgo network. I only ask to not have the car plugged in for longer than necessary to charge, which is about 10-20 minutes for 80%. The exact time is also displayed on the pump or the dashboard of the car.
Please make sure to download and familiarize yourself with the plugshare app for your phone to locate the charging stations. Please adjust the settings to following:
Home Chargers: deselect
Requires Fee: select (there is no fee for you)
Plugs: select CCS/SAE only
Networks: select EVgo only
The stations displayed are the fastest, most reliable, and most accessible stations. Avoid grey, white or orange markers with a wrench on the map as these stations might be offline or under construction. While in theory there are other stations and plugs available, from my experience, these settings will keep things simple. I am also only able to provide you with an access card to these charging stations.
NOTE: The car can ONLY be charged at public charging stations. There is NO cord to charge at home at a regular outlet.
Please read everything on this page carefully to avoid trouble with running out of charge. Also make sure your trip allows you to stop and charge as necessary, keeping the limited range and availability of charging stations in mind. It is always best to plan on keeping a range of ten miles or more as a reserve for emergencies.

2016 Chevrolet Spark EVHeinrich's Chevrolet154.511
Heinrich was very courteous and instructive. Had a great experience with his electric vehicle which I picked up in La Jolla. Would definitely rent from him again.
I had a great experience with Heinrich's car. It's exactly how its described on the website and Heinrich was also very pontual and helpful, explaining everything about how to use an electric car. I'd recommend him for everyone!
