I recently switched to dynamic pricing and Turo sometimes bumps up the price a bit too high. Let me know if you are interested in the car but feel the price is too high, I might be able to reduce it for you.
Gas: Gas will always be full when you rent the car, please let me know if it is not full. I also expect you to fill up the gas tank when you are done using the car. If you don't fill up the tank, Turo will charge you a fee on top of the cost of gas plus $10 Processing Fee.
Toll: For tolls, please pay cash if possible. If there is no cash toll booth, please take note ahead of time if you go through any tolls, and let me know when you return the car so we can process the reimbursements quickly and add the fees directly to the rental. Turo has a $10 administrative fee on top if there are any unpaid tolls and I request the toll fees later on.
***Please note that tolls cost ~$5, but if you don't pay it, the fine will be much more >$30 + the administrative fee.
Tickets: Please let us know if you get any tickets during the rental. It follows the same reimbursement process as tolls. Vehicle registration and Turo insurance card are located in the booklet in the glove compartment. There are many insurance cards located in the vehicle, please make sure the one you use says TURO on it.
Cleanliness: Please return the car in as-good or better condition than when you borrowed it.
PLEASE NO SMOKING! -A cleaning fee of $85 will be accessed if car reeks of smoke upon return.
CLEAN CAR POLICY: Note that Turo terms & conditions require that the car be returned in the same condition it was received. It's not a fleet rental so please don't treat as such. If the car is noticeably dirtier upon return a cleaning fee of $35 will be incurred. If it is returned in an extraordinary dirty condition up to $150 fee could be incurred.
Miles: Take a photo of the mileage and fuel level and post them in the message section on the Turo app.
I don't like charging fees, all I ask, is you return the car in the same condition you got it. I understand sometimes time does not permit, just pay me for it. Unfortunately, I was forced to put the fees here after some bad rental experiences.
