This car gets great gas mileage!
I keep it tidy and clean. The trunk is surprisingly roomy, and the seats fold down for packing in a bike or other luggage and equipment.
There's a plug for your music and a charger for an iPhone 4 or 5, as well as a blanket in the back for a day at the park.
9-10 block walk from 19th St. or MacArthur BART.

Very convenient coordination and good conversation with Caterina! I was thankful to use her car for a day get-away to Mount Tam and would definitely reserve a trip with her in the future!
Caterina was wonderful to work with. She was very accommodating for both my pick-up and drop-off. Her car was in good condition, making for an easy and enjoyable transportation option. I will definitely rent this car again any other time I'm in need!
Caterina is easily the most responsible, straightforward, prepared owner I've experienced on Turo, and when there was a slight hiccup with refueling gas, was delightful and responsive. The car was exactly as described, easy to find, easy to park, and otherwise a perfect rental. Very highly recommended.
Caterina responded and confirmed my request within a half hour. She was great to communicate with and provided all of the information we needed. Proton was clean and the perfect car for our day trip to Sonoma! Would definitely recommend!
Very accessible car, easy to pick up and return. I drove this to pinnacle national park and it was getting 45mpg. Easy to drive, and overall great experience! I would definitely rent this car again for future trips
Proton was great and Caterina was easy to communicate with and helpful. Gas mileage on the Prius is fantastic -- all the way to Big Sur and back on 6 gallons of gas! Only challenge was finding parking upon return, but that's just city living I suppose.
Car was easy to find, fun to drive and pretty easy to park (went around the block twice, not bad!) The only side note was that I could not for the life of me figure out how to change the radio to my ipod. There was an adapter, but couldn't get it off the radio/cd player. I definitely will borrow this car again, so wouldn't mind some instruction for next time!! :)
Overall, I have had a good experience with this car. It was accessible with a mobile device which allowed for late pick-up and drop-off when I had to take a friend to the airport.
The only trouble I had was trying to park Proton on a hill. The car would not shift into reverse, and I was stuck on the hill for an hour and a half, until a tow truck arrived. I tried calling Turo support, and did not have a good experience. This was to no fault of the owner. She did check into the car the next day to ensure it was running properly.
First time in a Prius and I can say without a doubt that this ia the car I'll be purchasing when the time comes. Grateful for the video too. Also, super clean and parking was a breeze.
Thank you Caterina!
This was my first time using Turo and after this experience, I will definitely be using RR again.
Caterina was pleasant enough to leave detailed instructions on how to use the Proton. Everything about this trip was smooth and seemless. Thanks C!
However... I do have one gripe. Prior to picking up the vehicle, Caterina warned me that the car wasn't exactly clean as the previous driver left it in quite a mess. With that warning, I had low expectations; however, I wasn't expecting it to look like it just went offroading and have the inside smell like a petting zoo. I did get a good laugh out of that, though.
Impeccably clean. Smooth ride in leather seats. Recommended. On a personal note, the owner took it upon herself to return a hat left in the vehicle to the rightful owner. Most impressed about her level of care.
Great car and great owner. She was very sweet and nice to email me about getting the car cleaned and about working with me on future reservations. A great example of Turo and a supporter of an enjoyable green community.
My favorite so far since joining RR. Smoothest drive ever, great gas mileage and the cleanest interior of any car I have borrowed thus far. Would not hesitate to recommend and look forward to the possibility of reserving this car again.
The Prius is a different type of car than most other cars. It took me a couple of minutes to find the "Power On" button rather than the key to turn. And a few more minutes to figure out the tap on the brake and hit the Power On button to be able to drive. By the end of the ride, I found the card on the visor which tells you all this. It would have been nice if the conformation email referred to that card.
I love driving a Prius - from limited experience renting Prius a few times with Zipcar - before I found out about Turo. I found out about Turo by seeing the Prius in my neighborhood. But either I never got the hang of getting this Prius started or there's a problem with the charging system. In the last hour, afraid I might get caught overtime, I gave up my last errand and parked the car early. Out of 5 starts, I only got it running right away one time. Otherwise the vehicle was fine.
