What's with the lights? How do they work?
LED lights are installed in the wheel wells and the interior dash of my car. The lights are turned on/off via a remote and can stay one of many colors of your choosing or change colors in a variety of different tempos including to the beat of whatever music you've got playing. Just remember to turn them off when you leave the vehicle so as to not drain the battery.
Is that a bike rack on your car? Can I use it?
Why yes, indeed it is! You are welcome to use the bike rack that can hold up to 2 bikes at a time. I will remove the bike rack prior to your rental unless you have indicated to me you would to use it for your trip. The rack clips on to the trunk and has been very reliable for me on a daily basis.
How do I listen to music?
Press the "AUDIO" button and change input to radio, USB (iPhone cable included), aux, CD, etc.
What's the radar detector and how does it work?
This device detects radars of all sorts to let you know if there is an emergency or police vehicle nearby. The device will beep and light up depending on the strength of the signal. The detector is mounted to he dash to the left of the steering wheel. In order to use during your trip simply plug it in to the lighter located in the center console.
How do I turn on the headlights?
They're set on automatically but the dial to make adjustments is to the very left of the steering wheel.
What do I do at the end of my trip?
Allow yourself some time to tidy up after yourself and fuel up nearby using 91/premium grade fuel (please take a pic to confirm). I will meet you to review condition of the car and take the keys. Using location sharing through the Turo app is a great way to show me you're on your way but a simple text will do too.
Do I really have to refuel?
If you're pressed for time, I'd prefer you just return with enough gas for me to refuel than you returning the car late (and thus not being insured). I will simply submit a request for reimbursement and Turo will add on a 3% processing fee. Super easy to do, so please feel free to take advantage of this convenience if needed.
