You can't beat Prius in gas efficiency (50+ MPG), which will save you a lot in this road trip. However, plug in version is also great for commute: green stickers will shave priceless minutes off it. As a bonus if you charge battery overnight or at your workplace, you wouldn't spend even a drop of gas. It drives up to 13 miles from the battery when fully charged and Chargepoint card + 120 volt outlet charger is included.
Features include navigation, rear-view camera, A/C, cruise control, EV, Eco Pro and Power driving modes. Ok, who am I kidding, "Power" means "please try to pretend you are a regular car". But it's easy to forgive, overall it's a great car, I enjoy it a lot as well as renters on Turo do.
We recently had our second car die. I don't drive that often, so we're considering using turo for a while for the occasional trip instead of getting a replacement car. Vladimir' Prius is close to where we live, and makes a nice option. Vladimir himself was very accommodating and the car was excellent.
