Adam was ready to go when I picked up the car & dropped it off, and it was nice I didn't have to wait. Adam was great with making sure we both looked at any damage to the car, and he was prompt with pick up and drop off. This car was fun to drive (with turbo) and had pretty good gas mileage (about $40 fill up tank completely, depending where you get gas).
The power locks were broken on the passenger side, but that did not inhibit my experience with the car. I used this car with my three friends & I to get around Hollywood, LA & Venice Beach and it was just what we needed!
Adam was good about the timing of things and pleasant to do business with. The car itself worked good as far as getting us around, A/C worked very well, both passenger side power door locks were not functioning so that was a minor inconvenience having to unlock both doors from the inside so my wife could get in and put our daughter in her car seat, but overall happy with renting from Adam.
Overall had no problems with the car and it was pretty good on mileage. Adam was very friendly and was pretty flexible with our schedule. After he brought the car to our hotel, we drove him to a bus station 10 min away. At the end of our trip, we drove to a bus station about 10 min away, and he drove us to the airport to drop us off. He is a great communicator and was on top of the schedule and arranging all this.
He brought the car to us with 7/8 gas tank full (kind of difficult to get back to that level, so I just filled it for return).
The car was a little more "worn in" than I expected and it was a little dirty inside - but being that this is my first Turo experience - maybe that's normal.
Some small surprises - the check engine light was on, passenger electric door locks didn't work (had to lean over and pop open the doors for front and rear passengers), no key fob (single key), some sticky liquids in the cupholders and a decently scratched up exterior/interior.
But to be fair, after considering that these are people's driven-in and regularly used vehicles and not owned/maintained by a business - I guess all this can be expected for $25 per day...
To be completely transparent, I was hoping for a little more - but am understanding and content with what I got being what I paid for.
