Can I smoke in the car?
No Smoking allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, Turo will charge up to a $250 cleaning fee.
Do I need to fill the car with gas before returning?
Please return car at the same gas level you received the vehicle at with 87 octane unleaded fuel. If gas is not filled to the level it was rented at, we will charge you for actual gas cost along with a $25 admin fee charged by turo.
Do you offer car seats?
Yes, We have child car seats available upon request and a limited supply. We can only guarantee you will get a seat if you paid for the seat in your trip extras. Please ask for child seat in booking reservation, the sooner the better. Please let us know age as we only have seats for ages 2.5 to 7. California has very strict laws for certain child seats by age. This information will help us prepare the right child seat for your youngster.
Is there GPS built in?
There is no GPS built in, I recommend using Waze or Google maps.
Does the car have a toll pass for express lanes, toll road, and bridges?
Car will come with built in toll pass that is accessible at all state toll roads, express lanes, and bridges. We will ask for reimbursement once the toll(s) arrive into toll account and payable via Turo app. It can take from 30-90 days to get the toll charges.
Do I need to return car clean?
Yes, If there is any excessive cleaning needed such as: animal hair, food stains, water stains, beach sand, or excessive mud in which we have to shampoo the seats or mats Turo will charge up to a $250 cleaning fee. We do offer the option to purchase a post trip LIGHT cleaning for $10 to avoid the $25 cleaning fee. This post trip cleaning does not cover excessive cleaning only light cleaning such as light dirt on the outside and dust and crumbs on the inside.
How does LAX service work?
Seamless LAX service. Once you arrive at the airport a ride share option will be provided. Once you have all your bags and you are ready to be picked up you will head to the departures level and request your ride. No waiting for a shuttle or waiting in two-hour rental service lines. When your trip is over a ride share option will be provided to take you back to the airport. Once you have booked for LAX you will get an important email with further step by step instructions so be on the lookout for that email. This service is only available if you book for LAX and not for vehicle pick up. Make sure to select LAX at check out or this service will not be provided.
What if my incoming flight is early or late?
Please let us know right away that your flight is early or late. Sometime our cars book back to back so if your flight is early please notify us when you land and we can let you know if the car is ready for you to pick up or when it will be ready for pick up. Where the cars are located is an area with restaurants and shops so until your car is ready you can always find something to do there. If you are late, do not stress, your Uber link will still work and the car will be ready for you once you arrive.
If I get your LAX service is that for pick up only?
No, LAX service is round trip to the car and back to the airport.
What if I get a parking ticket?
Parking Tickets need to be paid directly by you once you get the ticket. If you fail to pay the parking ticket you will be charged for the ticket, plus any penalties, plus a $25 admin fee charged directly by Turo.
