2012 Toyota Prius vRoxanna's Toyota15525
This is very nice and comfortable car for the long trip
Roxanna was really easy to work with. The car was at the Turo lot (free shuttle pickup from LAX), worked perfectly, and Roxanna was accommodating for my 5am departure the morning I returned the car. Would definitely recommend her and will definitely be in touch with her next time I'm in LA.
Roxanna was a pleasure to work with! I had such a great experience that I ended up renting her Prius twice in one month for work-- it's the perfect size for traveling, the GPS was awesome to have, and the gas mileage can't be beat!! All in all, phenomenal Turo experience. Thank you again, Roxanna!
First of all I should say that Roxanna is amazing person. She was responding very quickly to all my messages. So it was easy to chat with her. I rented her Prius for my California road trip with my mom. Roxanna brought it to my place and picked it up at the end. Super convenient! Car runs good. It was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for two people or even for a family of four or five! There was also a fast track transmitter which I used for toll roads. I will definitely rent this car again!
We spent 14 days in this amazing Prius. As our honeymoon we did round trip LA - Grand Canyon - Las Vegas - Yosemite - SF - LA. In total more than 2300 miles. The car was very reliable and pleasure to drive. We were always around 40mpg (even more in the city traffic). Because of this, we saved quite a lot of money for gasoline.
Because I am European driver, I am used to manual transmission. It took me couple of hours (and expensive kB on roaming data plan) to figure out how different modes of automatic transmission works, but then it was quite easy. If you are not used to automatic, just do yourself a favor and check out this page in advance: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Toyota_Prius/Driving_tricks
It is also good to know, that "handbrake" is actually a pedal on your very left side when sitting in the driver seat.
There is a short description of different car features in the car glow box which gives you a good start with anything else you might need to use. Drive modes description was bit confusing there.
We used heavily a car build in GPS navigation and it was always very reliable and had all the important POI we needed. Only category we haven't found was a car wash service, but in LA it is no problem to find one by driving around the city. The navigation also calculated roads very well. Only case when it took us to a closed road was inside Yosemite Valley.
We used a lot the FM radio receiver (very convenient and easy to use) and bluetooth (paired with my smart phone). Both worked very well without glitches. I even did one call using the in-car sound system as a handsfree.
Roxanna is a great car owner and very fast to react on any questions we had during our trip. We had absolutely great time in US also thanks to this car.
