What's the best way to Supercharge?
1. For the fastest trip experience, plan to arrive at the Supercharger with 15-20% of charge left.
- The car will charge fastest when it's battery is low
2. Find a stall "number" that's not being used.
- For example: 1A and 1B use the same power source so the second car will charge slower
3. Note the charge time, go stretch your legs or grab a bit to eat. Make sure to return before the battery is full.
- Tesla will charge an idle fee if you're parked in a spot but not charging
What chords or adapters are included?
The following adapters and charging chords are located in the trunk.
- Tesla Charging Chord with 120V and 240V NEMA 10-30P Adapters (4 Prong dryer plug)

2016 Tesla Model SSaphira15517
Jason is the GREATEST guy. I would rent from him anytime. We had some changes we needed to make--some last minute--and he was completely accommodating and responsive. His car was perfect and we would rent from him anytime!!!!
Jason's Tesla Model S was a fantastic car for cruising in LA. It's a 75 (not D) which is by no means a slouch, being a late 2016 model it comes with autopilot 1 but has the new nosecone, super useful centre console and a spotless black leather & dark ash interior, and still has the "new Tesla" smell. Many LA car parks offer Type 1 (J1772) charging, compatible adapters are in the rear trunk of the Tesla, very straightforward to charge!
Turo valet experience was really easy to work with too - simply picked up the car from a hotel a short drive from LAX (they offer free shuttle service to and fro LAX) and dropped it off at the same place. The Turo staff took pictures before/after to check over any damage and service was professional.
If you're looking for a luxury car to drive in LA, getting Jason's Tesla Model S 75 will not disappoint!
Jason's Model S is a great car, of course. I mean... It's a Model S. And you don't need a P100D to see just how incredible it is to rent one of these vehicles. Jason provided me with Charging adapters for 120v, 240v and J1772, two of which I was able to use at the hotel I visited. On top of that, he provided me with semi-secured, off-street parking while I rented the car. And most importantly of all, he communicated everything fabulously.
Oh, and since he purchased the Model S before 1/1/17, I was able to supercharge for free!
I would love to rent from Jason again. And absolute;y A+++ service in every way!
My boyfriend and I took a road trip up to Monterey, and it was absolutely wonderful. The Tesla was obviously amazing, but Jason also made the experience easy and stress free. I had to cancel last minute due to weather, and he was quick to accommodate my rescheduling and very understanding. Would absolutely do this again, and highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Jason!
Jason is really easy to communicate. This is my first time to rent from Turo. I'll do it again literary because of him. Remember to rent from a renter with more than 5 feedbacks. First timer renter could back off in last minute as happened to me 2 days before the trip. Jason really come to rescue and had me and my family enjoyable trip and great ride.
Jason was easy to coordinate with and very helpful. And his car, Saphira was incredible! It is a beautiful Tesla with lots of great features installed. Cruising around in this vehicle from the future took our vacation to the next level. Will definitely rent from again.
Jason was super fast at responding to all questions and concerns. Pickup was fast and easy. The Tesla model S is an amazing car and was overall a great experience. I would recommend Jason to all other people interested in renting a Model S.
Very fast communication, great person to talk to. Gave me all the information I needed to operate my first fully electric car. The car was very clean and in pristine condition and I loved every second driving it, especially on autopilot. Thanks for sharing you car with me!
Great car! Instant Torque, long range EV, quick charge on free Tesla supercharger stations, and fabulous Autopilot. Jason was nice enough to contact me to see if I was okay when he noticed that the my EV battery was at 0% charge remaining; fortunately I was already at a supercharging station. We met many nice Tesla owners at the Cabazon Supercharging station. An older couple drove from Seattle, Washington on their way to Joshua Tree for what sounded like a great Airbnb. Another single man claimed to be the only model X owner from Alaska; I could see why, because Alaska has no supercharge stations.
The acceleration is great, but using autopilot from LA to Joshua Tree to San Diego and back to LA (all within 12 hours) was my favorite part of the trip. Although I stayed alert throughout the trip, autopilot on Hardware 1 still made the road trip more pleasant when driving in the middle lanes of the freeway (preventing the autopilot from getting confused with the off ramps).
Jason was very responsive and flexible. We easily arranged most convenient location and timing for my trip. The new Tesla is absolutely amazing. I know why the Tesla nearly broke the Consumer Reports system because the ratings were so high, off the charts. Most comfortable ride! Most powerful car I've ever driven. It was easy to charge at the Tesla SuperCharger stations, very fast EV charging. Perfect Trip!!
