2005 Porsche BoxsterSASIKARN's Porsche15516
Sasikarn was very professional, accommodating, and friendly. He explained all the features of the Boxster, including the high take-up of the clutch. And the Boxster...wow. A visceral, analog driving experience. Fast. Loud. Balanced. Beautiful. Steering is one of the best I've ever experienced. Perfect car for Cali. Rent it - you won't regret it! Thanks for an unforgettable time!!
Rent this car!!!! There are so many reasons to rent a bright yellow convertible Porsche in Southern California.
First - a convertible is the only way to see the sights - mountains, hills, cliffs, buildings - there is so many things that you will not see unless you look up.
Second- bright yellow gets attention, which is not easy to do when everyone has $100,000 cars. In one week I received a point and smile from a 20 something year old, a thumbs up from a hippy, overhead mother to kid "yes, that is a very fast car" and a "nice car" from a beautiful woman even though a $200,000 Mercedes was directly behind me.
Third - it is one of the most fun drives you will ever have. It's not super fast or powerful, at speed you can not hear the radio, there is no gps, Bluetooth, massaging seats, etc.... But you will not care. Your music will be the rev of the engine, you'll feel like your going 200 miles per hour even though a Honda just past you and you will smile more and be more relaxed than any massage therapist could ever get you.
The practical: great owner, great communication, easy to drive, smooth and forgiving stick shift for most levels of experience. Five stars
Great Car. I was surprised to find that it had enough cargo capacity for 2 carry-on-sized roller bags. High points: Awesome color, great sounding engine, comfy seats, low road noise. Low points: car stereo, long clutch travel, found it difficult to park.
Beautiful car. A bit older and shows a few signs of wear here and there but overall in great condition and has been well taken care of. The clutch is a bit hard so it's not so fun if you get stuck in traffic but once we were out on the coast it was fantastic. A blast to drive with the top down and enjoy the perfect weather!
Unfortunately, it rained almost the entire time we had the Boxster, so we didn't get to drive with the top down too much. However, the car ran smoothly, shifted easily, and was fun to drive once you got away from traffic.
Sasikarn was a pleasure to work with, and the car is great! Sasikarn was very accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond. This was my first time using Turo, and he took the time to explain everything, which I appreciated. The car is a lot of fun to drive and is in excellent condition. It was a great experience all around!
It rained everyday I was in California during this trip. Nonetheless, the Boxster was a quick and steady in the rain. Very clean car, plenty of space for a two people and their luggage (if you're traveling, Google the luggage capacity to find out if it will be bug enough for you.)
Sasikarn was quick and thorough. His Porsche Boxster was faultless, however it is currently not fitted with the 19in Boxster S wheels depicted in the first image. When I picked up the car it was spotless but the rear right tire pressure was low. Upon drop-off Sasikarn was slightly confused about the allowed mileage but there was ultimately no issue. Sasikarn had asked me to clean the car before returning or give him $15 and this is mentioned nowhere in his listing. This was a first for me with a Turo rental. The car drives beautifully, you will not be disappointed.
