I was disappointed. I would encourage you to rent from another "owner" on this platform. This is a car rental company. The "owner" was very hard to get ahold of from the messages to provide the address in advance so I could plan my pick up. The car was not ready when I arrived even though I called 3 times in advance and was assured it would be ready for me. When I arrived they said "10-15 min" which took close to an hour for them to clean the car. The car was in okay condition. When I decided I wanted to cancel and book another car, the "owner" messaged me and told me to return the car within an hour or he would report it as stolen. He didn't understand how Turo works. Which pays out the owner immediately and he didn't read that I wanted to return the car that evening. He assumed I was taking the car and then canceling the trip which is theft and absurd. Then I tried to start the car and found out the owner DISABLED the engine remotely so I couldn't start the car. This was so alarming because what if I was in the middle of nowhere or on the highway or desert? I'm not sure if that is even legal. Finally after many phone calls to the reception and staff, the "manager" called me which was actually the owner and he admitted to disabling the car. He eventually said he would credit me through Turo. But I've yet to receive any confirmation that this is so. I wish you the best sir.
