The car didn't have a license plate on the back and no registration. It was sort of hard to communicate with him and we thought the car was going to be dropped at the airport and the keys given to us there, but that's not the case. We ended up getting him to drop the car off at a public parking lot so that we didn't have to get in a car with a random stranger. The car was great though! A couple scratches and the convertible top didn't work until we taped a piece into place. Once we did that we enjoyed the car.
Vehicle was amazing had one of the best experiences driving a Camaro convertible I appreciate the owner being very nice and helping with the car reservation in booking pick up and drop off was great will definitely rent again and is currently renting another vehicle from him thank you!
Overall the car was okay. The license plates were expired and we received a ticket and got pulled over twice by the police. The car also had the odor of marijuana in it, but that was not a big deal. The right blinker was not working as well. Pickup and drop off was easy and pain free!
Very easy to coordinate with. Nice and clean car. Super fun to drive. Only thing was the tank was not filled, however not the owners fault. The owners were very understanding with time as I was late from the roadtrip
Vehicle was great, I was a little tall for the vehicle (6'4") but that isn't Artsiom's fault, just a friendly warning to other tall people!
I did have a few complaints though, Arsioms picks you up from the LAX airport and takes you to an offsite location about 10 minutes away, this was slightly inconvenincing due to the fact that I had my wife with me, so fitting 3 people into a 2 door car isn't always comfortable, ontop of the luggage we had. But I get it, some people enjoy being picked up, but mostly he does it because it saves him Uber fees by not having to Uber to his office or the parking lot, he takes you to then gets into a different vehicle and it also saves him parking ticket prices at the airport, so I get it he runs a business and every dollar counts, but to me it was a bit tacky.
Communication was great, their phone is always on, but my final complaint was thus, we decided to extend our trip another day, but we no longer needed the car, so we asked if they could pick the car up from us at our airport which was closer to their offsite parking lot than LAX is. Artsiom refused, said the car must be returned to the parking lot, not a huge issue, we returned to the offsite parking lot waited 10 minutes, one of his workers / drivers showed up, inspected the car, asked us if we needed a ride to the airport, we said no that we just needed a ride back to our hotel (which again was closer and in the same direction as LAX), he called Artsiom and Artsiom said no. So the driver drove off, my wife and I waited in the rain for 10 minutes for an Uber to come pick us up and we Uber'd back to our hotel.
Car was in great condition, communication was great and the price was great, but the customer service was very lacking, I don't think I'd rent from Artsiom again unfortunately.
The car was exactly as advertised. Communication was good. They had lost the keys previous to our trip so there were a couple set backs but it was understandable. Would rent again next time we are in town!
Everything went extremely well. The whole process was easy and in order to perfection. Artsiom kept me updated as I requested as far as drop off locations and times. I will definitely rent from Artisom again when in LA. Thanks Artsiom
I had to pay extra USD 610 for a very small windshield crack, perhaps a stone hit it on the highway. Doubt the guys will even change it. The guys were bit late to pick me up from LAX and while they promised me in writing to bring me back to my hotel near LAX after the rent period I only got the ride back there after a long argument and some phone calls.
2nd time I've used turo on trips to the USA and well impressed car was as described no problems pick up and drop off was easy will have no hesitation using turo again or renting off artiston next time we are in LA spot on as we say in England and good job as you say in America highly recommended
We rented the convertible Camaro. My wife and I were picked up at the terminal arrivals and taken to our car. The car was very clean, and he made drop off very easy taking us back to our terminal. The car gets great mpg! We will definitely rent again next time in LA.
How can one complain about a convertible Camaro? It was awesome and the car was nice looking. Owner dropped car off across the street from the hotel in a parking lot before I got there and gave me some hints on saving money on parking. Great experience.
I have rented with Artisom multiple times to drive up to San Jose. My experience with Artisom has been pleasnt and very positive. He has great cars that are fun to drive especially for long trips and he is very accommodating and easy to work with.
I plan on using his services again, great person to rent from!
The car was GREAT! Drives wonderfully, very clean although not completely ready for us... fuel was on empty and no washer fluid at all. We filled up on both. A partner? of Artisom picked us up from the airport and that went quite smooth. Communication from the start was GREAT through Turo, however diminished towards the end. This was our first turo.com adventure. I didn't want them to have to pick us up and take us to the airport at 5:30am so I scheduled drop off at 9pm the night before. Figured we would stay at an airport hotel and take a shuttle to the airport. However, the guy who picked us up said it would be no problem to pick us up early Monday morning and encouraged us to keep the car till morning. The day before the trip was over, I requested an extension until 6am Monday morning, which was approved. I then messaged Artisom, as it was our first LA visit, and asked if he could meet closer to 5:30am for the car so we had plenty of time to get through LAX for our flight. I received a Turo reply at 1:49am (we were sleeping) that we needed to drop off the car at the Turo parking lot in the morning.. with an address and contact number. Unfortunately, that lot is at a business center.. no sign, no instructions on where exactly to leave the car or keys. The number went to a voicemail stating they weren't open until 6am. Needless to say, we panicked a little trying to figure out where to leave the car exactly, what to do with keys and how we were going to get back to the airport. Finally, I received a reply to my text telling me to drop it off at LAX departure parking. We had the car washed and vacuumed upon return and received confirmation the car was found without issue. It ended up working out.. but it was stressful there at the end, that could have been us being new to how this all worked, I'm not sure. I would have given five stars, had there been gas in the tank, windshield wiper fluid and better communication on that last day. Would still rent from again. =)
There are not enough stars on the scale. Came over from the UK and was very hesitant but Artsiom's customer service is second to none. I am absolutely amazed at how great this service was from start to finish. Spent 2 weeks with it touring California. Car was amazing and a pleasure to drive. Had an issue with a cracked windscreen but again the transaction to get this sorted was very smooth and sorted within days. I will 100% be using Artsiom again and will be recommending his services to anyone traveling to LA from the UK in the future.
amazing customer service :) He had dropped off the Camaro to me and the car was practically brand new. Convertibles are always fun :) He was so easy to work with and has a very fast response time. I had requested an extension last minute and he had approved it right away. Thank you!!!
What can I say.. Great guy, great cars and a great service. Artsiom is very friendly, helpful and incredibly easy to do business with. He will definitely be a long term contact for rentals on future trips to LA.
